2021 Jeep Compass Overview

The 2021 Jeep Compass is a compact SUV that competes with the Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4, and Honda CR-V. Maximum cargo capacity is 59.8 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.

Five trims are available: Sport, Latitude, 80th Anniversary Edition, Limited, and Trailhawk. The new 80th Anniversary Edition trim includes 19-inch wheels, leather-trim seats, power driver seats with lumber support, and an 8.4-inch multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Under the hood, it is powered by a standard 180-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD). An optional nine-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive (4WD) drivetrain. Fuel economy for the FWD Compass is an EPA-estimated rating of 22/31 mpg. It slightly decreases to a 22/30 mpg rating with the 4WD model.
