I attempted to purchase a vehicle from Fayetteville Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (FDCJR), and needless to say with a one star rating it went horrible at the end. I was contacted by the dealership through True Car from my financial institution. I was interested in purchasing a new Jeep Wrangler, even though they did not have what I wanted in stock. The salesman JJ seemed okay and contacted me over the next week to see if I wanted to order one but, had to get approval for everything from his manager.
Over this time, I called around to other dealerships for their best prices on an order. FDJCR came close to the best price I received from any other dealership that was within three hours away, and since they were within one hour, I decide to choose them. MAJOR mistake. We agreed upon an out the door price for the order which I got in writing twice. Once on the order sheet and then on the deposit sheet. I placed the order mid-April and with Covid quarantines was told delivery would be in June. Over the course of the next four months I called every few weeks to get updates on my order and was always told it was still being built.
Well two weeks ago I got a call on Saturday morning from JJ out the blue that my wrangler was at the dealership, Great. I informed him that I would come in the following Tuesday to pick it up. Well I get a phone call later in the day saying that I needed an employee number to get the jeep at the price we agreed upon as when I placed the order wranglers were employee priced for everyone. We go back and forth over this and he said he needed to talk to his manager on Monday and would get back with me. At this point I am pissed, but as expected no call on Monday but, I do receive a call on Tuesday from Denise the Internet sales manager. I ask if the numbers have been straightened out and she said yes it was what we agreed upon, so I drive up with a bank check to pick up my jeep. Loved the look, the test drive was great, and the went in to sign paperwork and bam. Price was $3000 more. That’s when I was told that JJ and the unknown manager named Kyle were the one who signed off on the original deal and neither were available. I was dealing with Timothy Reeves (Tim) now and he would never agree to that deal. He then said since there is a shortage due to Covid he could get MSRP and was doing me a favor, ha. He tried his pressure sale technique since I was at the dealership, which did not work and then tells me to call the next day after he talks to his other manager. The next day I was told by Tim that the other mystery manager agreed that the only way to get that price would be with an employee number and that they could finance at the dealership. I stated that is not what was agreed upon and, he said that if I walked away from the deal, I would lose my deposit and he could give me five days to find an employee number. I told him my deposit was safe as he was no longer offering the vehicle at the agreed upon price.
After the five days I was able to get a friends and family number as I wanted the jeep and didn’t want to have to wait another 4 months. But, was told by Tim that was not good enough and the price would be 2700 more than what was originally agreed upon. As he already had it sold the next day if I did not agree, which I did not. I was told to call the next day reference my deposit as the finance office was closed and from that point on when I called, they would put me on hold supposedly for Tim and no one would pick up. I did get my deposit back as I made it with a credit card and had the credit card company handled that for me. Word of Warning STAY AWAY!

This place use to have outstanding customer service when Mark was in service department now it’s a joke. I spent over 6 phone calls 5 text message and talk to 5 different people trying to make a service appointment and never was able. Disconnected 2 times given to part manager Sasha who could do anything but excuses. When I stated I will talk to General Manager she said ‘ Oh my god really it’s not that big a deal’. So I did talk to Tim the supposed general manager who made excuse and said he’d have Sasha call me 6 hours later no returned call. When I reached back out to him he stated he’d talk to her. Better idea I’ll get it done elsewhere and much cheaper. Come to find out their the highest in town for alignments. And this was after I had my vehicle in for service 2 weeks ago and was never told it needs toe in fixed I noticed receipt after seeing funny wear pattern in my front tires.
Their in some serious need of help!
