So very pleased!

I love a new car. The spotless carpet, the stainless console, the exterior shine and sparkle but really what I love the most is that new car smell! Second only to the smell of puppy breath, new car smell would almost make me trade cars like a revolving door just to enjoy that glorious scent of leather! The problem is that to get the new car smell I’d have to go to a car dealership and interact with a car salesman. Oh, how I dread that. I’ve kept a car a year beyond when I should simply to avoid interaction with the stereotypical car salesman. Well, this time my new car came with a very pleasant surprise! David Long, a salesman with Efird Chrysler on Lucas Street in Florence, along with Tim Watkins, the GSM made this new car purchase a pleasure! No hard pressure sales tactics but simply LISTENING to what we wanted and making certain that was what was delivered in the vehicle they had to offer. And the time they spent teaching me about the technology! I had no idea so much was possible! From the time Michael initiated contact with David Long until the time I shook David’s hand after the final detailing session, this man was polite, professional, respectful and knowledgeable. His dedication to service and professionalism makes it clear why he has been at Efird for over 20 years. David Long made car buying a pleasure and I can highly recommend him for your next car purchase.

Terrible Customer Service

Will never purchase here again. I bought a RAM Limited. I was misled about the condition of the vehicle. It was supposed to be new, but the under carriage had been damaged on the lot, the air suspension system had been replaced, and there were paint defects from the factory that were not pointed out. I try to tell everyone I see about the level of service I received. I think they are the most dishonest people I have ever dealt with, which is sad.

Horrible customer service and management

I took my car here to get a key programmed nothing but a TPMS, Traction Control, and O2 censor light were on when I left my car with the dealership, I know this because I have a scanner that I bought when I purchased the car in April. When I picked my car up from the Service Department it is now showing multiple transmission codes, my speedometer no longer works, my airbag light, ABS light, and BRAKE light are on. I called Howard Efird to see if I could get any help from him instead of his very rude Service Manager Christina and other members in the service department. He informed me that I would have to pay for them to fix everything that his service department has messed up because he is not going to pay for it even though I simply said I want his employees to fix what they broke because I shouldn’t have to pay for their mistake whenever everything was fine before they touched my car. His customer service himself was very poor as were his employees. They were nice when I was spending $359 for them to programmed and cut a key but now they’re being extremely crude because I have called them out on their mistake. I would HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else rather than this dealership for any of your needs as I am not the only person who has had this issue according to other customers of theirs that I have talked with.
