Went into Bayside this weekend for my third Jeep from them. I got exactly what I wanted. Great sales team. Their service department needs some work but overall a great place.

Brought my car in for service for a variety of issues. I had mentioned my previous poor experience at another dealership and I wanted to make sure my service rep Jay took note of all the details.
The main issue of the vehicle was fixed, but a few things (although supposedly recorded) we're never fixed. Additionally, as soon as I received my vehicle back (still right outside the dealer), the traction control and ABS lights were on which now means I need to bring it back to a new dealership. The frustration and laziness this dealership displayed caused me to not want to waste any more time asking them to fix yet another problem.
Jay was rude and unprofessional, not taking the time to explain the claim approval process to me, nor following up with me after he said he would. He made me call Chrysler to ask for things only the dealership could do. After telling Jay that only he can get approval for the task, he told me that there was a long wait on the phone, hence the reason for him not doing it. I politely instructed him on what the Chrysler rep told me, for him to continually interrupt me and transfer the call to his service manager Bob who was polite and helpful. Bob promised to waive my deductible to offset the rental car extension but neglected to relay this information to his colleagues, which lead to a further delay upon payment where Jay had to call Bob after he had left the office.
This place is extremely busy and seems understaffed to serve its clients. After booking an appointment 3 weeks in advance, my vehicle was not admitted to service for 5 days, costing me $400 in rental car fees. I would only assume that a 3 week advance notice should allow them to work on my car within the first or second day.
I will not be returning to this dealership and will be advising others not to as well.

My family has bought vehicles from the Bayside Dodge Jeep dealership in the past and have always been pleased with the smooth service, however we have never had to bring any vehicle purchased from them to their service department, as we haven't had any issues. After purchasing a used Jeep Wrangler from a private sale, I noticed it had a transmission leak and had trouble finding a shop that would do the extensive repair. I ultimately decided to bring it to the bayside dodge jeep dealership to ensure the job would be done correctly and was more than happy with the process and result. The service managers Bob and Eddie were extremely helpful and attentive, and went out of their way to keep me updated and informed with the status of my car. They got the work done fast and at a reasonable price. My 2008 jeep wrangler now runs good as new! Thank you to Alan Fass and your crew at Bayside Dodge for your great costumer service, I would highly recommend anyone who needs a repair or new vehicle to give Bayside Dodge your business!
