Terrible customer service

Reviewed by Angelique Monroe from Detroit, miApril 16, 2021

I have been coming to this dealer since 2015. I have gotten 4 cars from them. I appreciated every time they worked with me up until now. The customer service is pretty much terrible at this point. It all started after I got my 2021 grand jeep Cherokee. A few months after having the vehicle I started hearing noises and experienced jerking. I took it up there and the service manager took a test drive with me and stated the whining noise and jerking I was experiencing was normal and his wife car was doing the same thing (apparently his wife car needs to be checked too). Went back a few weeks after and they put a pod reader in my vehicle and nothing came up. They said my car was fine. About a week later my brand new vehicle service transmission light came on (but “nothing is wrong with it). I contacted Cueter and spoke with Heather about the situation and possibly doing the buy back program. She stated to me she was going to talk to one of the service guys she trusted and was going to get back to me. Never heard from her again. Called her for about a week never got a call back. Fast forward I got it towed to a different dealer and they fixed my vehicle. Turns out I needed a new valve body and I had incorrect gear ratios. Fast forward my car is now doing the same thing so it’s back in the shop. Been in there for 3 weeks now due to the transmission heater. So now I’m speaking with Jeep directly to get a case started. So I called Cueter earlier this week to get documentation that I came their twice I was told I would be emailed or called never happened. Fast forward to today I called Heather no answer. I then had a friend call and look who answers the phone. I then proceed to tell her my situation. I was told I would receive a call back in 15 minutes. Let’s just say that 15 minutes has came and went. It’s crazy that I am being treated this way. I can’t even get the info that’s need or a simple call back. However, when it’s a car sale on the line no one has a problem with calling you. This use to be my go to dealer. But, not anymore. They have definitely lost a loyal customer.

Terrible Experience

Reviewed by Justin from Ann Arbor, MIJune 14, 2020

Absolute worst experience I have had with a business. I took my car in for a service diagnosis and they gave me a quote. Two weeks after my diagnosis I called into schedule the maintenance and I had to call them 3 times and after a week they finally called me back to schedule the appointment. When I finally was called back they had no recollection of my car being there and they had to have me bring it back in for another diagnosis. The manager Chad was unapologetic and lied about the whole experience. I had to bring it in a third time for the maintenance and when I called the day before to confirm my appointment I was told it was not in the system but they could still get me in. I drop off my vehicle first thing in the morning and ask if they could attempt to have it done by mid day. When I called in mid day to check in on the repair they had not even started and told me it would take until the end of the day. I was also misquoted and they refused to make any discounts on the bill. This place is awful and I recommend going anywhere else for your vehicle service.

Stereotypical dealership - I wouldn't recommend.

Reviewed by Sasha Ackerly from RomulusJanuary 13, 2020

This review is for their sales department. I've had two bad experiences with them this year. My opinion based on those experiences is that Cueter is a classic time wasting dealership. It seems they are looking for the no haggle, and/or inexperienced, emotional car buyers. The more time you spend at the dealership, the more invested you get - making it harder to walk away, right? I would avoid them unless you have a friend/family member recommend a specific salesperson they had a great experience with. For details on why I feel that way - see below. My first experience there was in Feb/March. Honestly, I thought I'd take their low score with a grain of salt as it is mixed with reviews for their service department. I made an appointment on a Thursday to talk to a salesperson and test drive a Dodge Ram. I wasn't deeply in need of a new vehicle, but I'd been considering switching to a truck from an SUV. My wife and I went right out of work without eating - expecting to be there for maybe an hour. The appointment was at 6:30pm - I still hadn't gotten to the test drive by 7:30pm. The salesperson, Jacob, was nice enough. However, he left us at his desk for quite some time to get the vehicle ready to test drive. I went around the corner to use the restroom and he appeared to be bsing with a sales manager. After using the restroom - and him not coming back, we left. Jacob called us - and one of the managers called us the next day, but I truly felt like this was a dealership that didn't have respect for me or my time. It even put me off of Dodge/Chrysler - and looking for a vehicle in general. Fast forward to December of this year. Chrysler and Ford were both running employee pricing for everyone, so I decided to check into what was out there. TrueCar got me in touch with Cueter based on my interest in a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. Wanted to get some rates for leasing, but was hesitant to get involved with Cueter again. I received some texts and emails from Jenni/Cueter but didn't respond at first. On 12/31, I did respond via email to Jenni explaining my experience with Cueter as a dealership earlier that year. Jenni assured me that they didn't want to waste my time, and the end of year specials expired on Thursday, Jan 2. I said ok - and gave her 3 vehicles that I was looking for pricing on. A salesperson named Jeremiah contacted me to say he was assigned to me to hopefully set right the bad experience I'd had previously. As I've already wasted too much of my life on Cueter - lets just say its January 3rd and I still haven't received any lease pricing on the 3 vehicles I was interested in. So much for that end of year employee pricing. As the old saying goes: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, s
