Dealing with my Chrysler stuck in low gear, I looked for a Chrysler dealer that could help me with it. From talking to local transmission shops, I understood that it might be the PCM. Jerry Ray Davis’ shop manager told me over the phone that with their Chrysler specific computer analysis, they could assess whether or not my PCM, the ‘brain’ of the car, was working properly, for ninety dollars. If it was ok, then they could reprogram it to change into all the gears for an additional forty dollars. I drove up to Owensboro on back roads, at forty miles an hour. Upon arrival for my 8:00 AM appointment, I was kept waiting until after lunch. The scan took an hour, and the shop manager came and told me the PCM indicated that I needed ‘speed sensors’ to first be replaced before the PCM could be diagnosed, and that it would cost an additional five hundred dollars. I was outraged, but was talked into doing it in the hope of resolving the problem with the PCM. In the waiting area I received an email from the shop manager asking how my experience with Jerry Ray Davis Chrysler had gone. I replied everyone was always smiling but my car had cost more than five times what she quoted me, and that I needed the old parts they had replaced with new ones, the speed sensors, so I could send them to Chrysler. Something wasn’t right. The speedometer worked fine. By the time this relatively simple procedure was done, the shop was closing, and there was no time to do the scan. I had to find a hotel. The next day, the scan was done and I was told the PCM wasn’t working. Rather than the promised ninety dollars, this time they charged me $350.00. The car was still stuck in low gear. When I got home I ordered a new PCM for $300 and put it in myself. The car runs fine now. Unhappy with the experience I filed a complaint with the BBB. The shop manager responded with a rambling incomprehensible word salad, lengthy enough to fill several pages. I rejected it. The following message was from the owner of the company who also rambled on but finally left his phone number and asked me to call him. I did, and I could barely get a word in edgewise while he kept going on about everything but a solution. After nearly a half hour, he said he’d have to call me back. He finally did about five hours later, in the middle of a meeting I was having with a client. He was angry, and let me know he was making a good will gesture I didn’t deserve by offering me $200.00. He said his was a for-profit business, and that he would not be allowed to represent Chrysler if he did not follow their protocols, even if computer generated commands meant replacing parts that weren’t broken. At great cost to customers like me. This job cost me ten times what I was quoted. The Jerry Ray Davis dealership has mastered the art of making money at great cost to their clients.

Terrible service
Terrible dealer ship was told they payments were gonna be good come to find out they are taking two payments a month out on me 2,000 dollar truck payment will never buy anything from them again

Buyer Beware!
Very disappointed with the follow up. Looks as if they're your average bad car salesmen, telling you everything you want to hear until the ink is dry, and then coming to find out very different information after the sale has been completed. Could not be more disappointed. Was promised car came with certain features, and then when that was not the case, basically got a "sorry" and no offer of rectifying the problem.
