I bought a 2020 Chevy Equinox from Tim Short in Lexington with full trust that I would be treated fairly. I was not. I bought the car online and was offered a test drive at the dealership prior to signing the papers but declined not being mechanically inclined an purchasing the car for my granddaughter. After the paperwork was completed I received the key fob and asked for the 2nd one only to be told there was only one. After arriving home and going to a locksmith He discovered that the door key in the fob I was given had never been cut and I would have to go to a dealer to have one made. The cost for a new fob and 2 keys was near 500.00.

They were very nice and, even though it wasn't a certified used, it seemed a safer bet than buying used from an individual....no. I took a risk, it didn't work out and I'll deal with it but there's a difference between selling a traded in truck with a developing transmission problem and one whose transmission is toast from the get go. I asked them if this truck would leave me on the side of the road and they said 'no' but that's exactly what it did a month after I bought it. My friend's truck has been in the shop twice already. Like I said, I made a decision and will deal with the consequences but I WON'T deal with this dealership again, new or used, and if you do...... get a mechanic to check out the vehicle before you buy it.
