Got the “included” spark plugs for a hefty price

Took my car in for a routine maintenance check and oil change, in there scheduler it said that spark plug replacement was included so I selected it along with my regular oil change and multiple point inspection, I go to pay and the tech. Say $808.28, I asked what I was being charged for and the tech. named off oil, oil filter 16 spark plugs and labor. I said uh, I’m almost positive that the spark plug replacement was an “included” service on my schedule, so I selected. Why do I have to pay for it if it was supposedly “included” Tech then got kind of snotty with me and said “No, that’s not an included service, you owe $808.28.” And just stared at me like I was wrong and trying to rob the dealership. My blood was boiling at this point so I just paid and went to get my car. Got in my car and looked it up on the schedule and low and behold I was in fact right, walked back in to show the tech. who saw me coming back and she was like “I already called it in.” Super snotty like. I still made her look at my phone to see that I was in fact right, to which she responded again, “I called it in.” Never once tried to make the situation right for me, I was just shunned away. Also, this is not the first time I have gone to Zimmer Motors for a routine maintenance check up and gotten screwed over, but it will be the last and I will be telling people that I have referred in the past about my experience(s) as this is unacceptable business practice. I will never be back to Zimmer Motors and once I share my experience with friends and family they will too spread the word of false advertising and poor treatment of long time customers.

About Zimmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

Zimmer Motors has been operating in the northern Kentucky area since 1929 and as a Plymouth franchise since 1932 initially under Ed Zimmer. In 1933 the Desoto nameplate was added as the 2nd new car franchise. The building of I-75 in 1938 forced the dealership into a smaller area of land and we operated as a used car dealership up until 1958. In 1959 Studebaker was added as a franchise followed by Plymouth (again) in 1961 and the Chrysler brand in 1978. Continuing our family-owned tradition Tom Zimmer joined our dealership in 1958 and was followed by Dick Zimmer in 1961.In March 1980 Zimmer Motors moved to its present location in Florence.
