Yesterday, my bf and I went to look at a JEEP Gladiator and it was not a good experience. The bf wants to special order one with all the bells and whistles, special color, etc. Bf asks several questions about the truck and salesman answers quickly and politely, I ask about safety ratings and get an “I dunno.” With no offer to look into it. We go for the test drive with my bf driving, and I start asking the sales guy some questions, pretty basic stuff which he should easily know the answer to. Stuff like, ‘Do the seats in the back fold down?/come out?” The sales guy (George) CLEARLY did not want that commission Bc after my second question he looks me dead in my face and goes “Why don’t you just turn around and enjoy the view.” Totally dismissing me and my questions. He then suggested I entertain myself by reading the info sheet stuck on the windshield in front of me, backwards. Obviously we didn’t get the truck today, and will choose another dealership. Your salespersons blatant disrespect and sexism just cost you a $55k sale.

Didnt purchase yet but speaking with staff and being able to not be pressured or feel rushed into a huge purchase are great traits. The vehicle is there and will be purchased by a week from now so I'll be excited to be able to purchase.
