I recommend this place to anyone!! Everyone was ver helpful and friendly!! I went just looking and left with a Jeep Renegade! Low mileage and good gas mileage!!

Cowboy Auto looses $33,000 Deal

Found a vehicle online on their website so I called about it. Was told it needs a transmission an it was in their shop. We were still interested in the truck. I asked could we take a look at it an would the price change after they put the transmission in so she checked an the price an told me no the price would still be the same. So we drove 2 hr's to look at this truck an when we got there they tried to sell us a new truck an was no where close to what we even wanted. We told them no we needed a 3/4 ton. So the fiance manager acted like he was irritated because we didn't take the truck HE picked out. We told him we wanted to look at the 3500 diesel that was in their shop. He then comes back in an lays a piece of paper down with the amount of the truck on it an said this is your final cost. It was $3,000 above the price that they had it listed for. When we questioned them about this he said no that price is right we must have made a mistake. So I showed him the price they had listed it for from my phone. He then proceeded to tell me he just went an adjusted the price of the truck online so that price wasn't any good anymore. We told him that was the price online when we looked at it an that was the price.of the truck when I called about it this morning before our 2 hr drive up there. He then said well this is the price an he couldn't do anything about it. I said to him even after you still had it online an also already told me that was the price your not going to stand by your word or price commitment. He then told my wife an myself if we wanted the truck he would sell us the truck with the bad transmission an we could deal with it. By this time we was so shocked an upset by the lack of professionalism and rudeness he was showing we just got up an walkedout We did have a set dollar amount we wanted to stay at but we also had some wiggle room to go up in price as well. The amount of the truck wasn't an issue if he had given us the right amount in the first place an didn't go up in price when we got there So Cowboy auto you just lost a $33,000 sell. Plus the sell of any trucks purchased for the farm in the future. I hope the owner reads this an understands what kind of people he has working for him. A business is only as good as the people who work for you an stand behind their word. To be honest if I had read some reviews about your dealership I would have scrolled on by. We did later that afternoon purchase a truck exactly what we was looking for without an dishonesty an price gouging. I wish y'all many more years in business but with the folks you have now I kinda doubt it.

I apologize again for your experience, as previously stated and explained when you guys were here, We had a as-is price on this diesel dually that needed a transmission. It was online for a "AS-IS" price- We made a decision as a dealership to fix the transmission so we changed the price back to a market price, if you guys wanted to purchase as it sits with the bad transmission we were happy to sell it at the advertised price. To reply on the truck we showed, we want customers to purchase which ever one he or she wants, Our willingness to show different options was strictly based on an approval basis and showing some newer year model and mileage as it is easier to obtain financing on newer truck with lower miles. Sorry again for the misunderstanding. We offered to find a replacement in the same price range and similar year.

Spoke with them on phone about a used low mile work truck. I was assured it had been checked over by their service department and was “totally road ready”, “ gently used “. I ask to be sent pics of anything that wasn’t good or might be of some concern. I was told “this is a good truck” and no problems seen . I explained I didn’t want to drive 5 hrs unless truck was good . When we got there , truck has major engine performance problem, 6 bald tires, major damage to floor mat, brakes questionable etc . When saleswomen was NOT SUPRISED and didn’t even apologize , it tells me they have not concern for honesty at all. I’m out a day of work, a 10 hr drive, gas and motel room because of their lies on condition of truck . Dealerships that operate like this should avoided at all costs.
