My wife found a 2003 suburban on line for sale at this dealership. Went in and test drove it. My whole family fell in love with it. Was told up front about a brake issue and then was told sold as is. I looked at the brakes and know I could fix them. They then ran our credit and was approved for the vehicle. And then we was told about a gas leak. Was told the vehicle was ours. We just had to come back the next day for the paperwork. I then called them the next day to see if they would fix the gas leak and add the price of the repair to the price of the vehicle. They called me back and said they are pulling the vehicle off the market because they would be liable of the repair if they didn't repair it correctly. And that the cost of the repair was $500. It seems like to me since they knew about the gas leak they should have been upfront about it. If they was willing to send me home in the vehicle before I asked about getting it fixed then why not fix it when I'm willing to pay for it? They ran our credit 2 different times to get us better payments knowing that it had this issue. Now they have not even offered to make it right. Not a way to do business.
