I have a lemon

by maryc from Bradenton, FL | October 09, 2019

I think this car is a lemon. But I am hearing from other owners that they have issues too. It's been in the shop 5 times. Major issues with the cooling system, the charging system and the bluetooth.

Great Car

by AVA from Nashua, NH | September 26, 2019

I have recently purchased this car and thus far the car has been great. The car drives very smooth. The controls are easy and reachable. The navigation is surprisingly good.

Great road handling at speed in Sport mode.

by Earl Dorsey from Louisville,KY | June 08, 2019

High torque contributes excellent responsiveness. Diesel logs 40 mpg at 75mph. Plenty of room for cargo. Excellent sound system. Heated steering wheel and seats are great. Also ventilated seats help a lot in Summer.

2018 Jaguar F-PACE Overview

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace is a mid-size luxury SUV that competes with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Audi Q5.

Six trims are available: the base trim, Premium, Prestige, R-Sport, Portfolio, and S.

The F-Pace has an athletic, sleek appearance with sporty squinting headlights, a bold rectangular grille, and sharp bonnet lines. The lower fascia feature large, evenly-spaced air vents to complement the grille. At the rear, the taillight design is reminiscent of the ones found on Jaguar’s other sport cars. Standard features include a panoramic moonroof, a power liftgate, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Unique sport body styling, carbon fiber exterior accents, Xenon headlights, LED headlights, LED signature lighting, front fog lights, power/heated side mirrors, and larger 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels are also available.

Under the Hood

Three engine options are now available for the F-Pace. 25t, 20d, 35t, and S badges denote which engine is equipped. The new entry-level engine (25t) is a standard 247-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, which is available for the base trim, Premium, Prestige, and R-Sport. The advanced 180-hp, turbo-diesel 2.0-liter 4-cylinder (20d) is only optional for the Premium, Prestige, and R-Sport. Both engines mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. A more powerful 340-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 (35t) is available for the Premium, Prestige, R-Sport, and Portfolio trim levels. The S is tuned to produce 380-hp and 332 pounds-feet of torque with the same powertrain. At the time of this writing, the EPA had not released fuel economy ratings for the F-Pace.

Inside, the F-Pace has a premium cloth interior with a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat. The 33.5 cubic feet of rear cargo space can be further expanded with the rear seat folded down. The center stack features a standard audio system with a 5-inch display, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, and a Meridian sound system. It can be upgraded to the InControl Touch infotainment system that includes an 8-inch touchscreen, an integrated navigation system, and InControl Remote and Protect apps for vehicle control, location, emergencies, and diagnostics. The InControl Touch Pro version comes with a 10-inch touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and additional InControl Apps is also available. The gear selector dial provides an elegant solution to the conventional shifter knobs found in other vehicles. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, remote vehicle start, cruise control, an automatic dimming rearview mirror, power front seats, a memory seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel are available as well.

Standard safety features include an advance airbag system, anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability control system. A backup camera, adaptive cruise control, a blindspot monitoring system, front and rear park assist, autonomous emergency braking, valet parking mode, lane keep assist, and a drowsiness monitoring system is available as well.
