Car Experience Shopping 103 We went to Range Rover Southbay. Jin was our sales guy. He was accommodating. I just didn’t like how he tried to push a 2019 Range Rover Sports with 46k miles on us. It sounded like it had 100k miles and needed a serious engine overhaul! Nice try Jin! We didn’t wanna buy someone’ troubles. We told you we weren’t interested. Second thing that bothered us was he kept calling us by the ring name. I mean, really? If you’re trying get ppl to buy your over priced cars you should at least try to remember their names. Any who, we tested the used range and the Jaguar f-pace. We chose the jag to buy. Long story short, Jin brought his financial manager to assist. We told him we r making a cash purchase. We didn’t even get to the amount we were offering. He shot it down like a black bear charging at him full blast! We didn’t even throw out a number. My sister thanked them for their time and we shook the dust off our feet. Duces!! As we are driving away, Tom calls us. He basically was trying to make up for his manager who tried to play serious hardball. My sister threw out a figure to him. He said he had to move some number around and would call us back. This was Wednesday late afternoon. Well, Tom didn’t call us. Jin called. My sister asked why Tom didn’t keep his word and call us back. He made some slight excuse for him. Then, he tried to convince us to pay over $60k for a car that has little to no backseat. Then, he tells us that’s it’s better to finance. LOL. Of course a salesman will tell you that because they can get serious money from,you by adding unnecessary things to your loan. He also said, it seems like whatever price they give us we don’t want to pay. Really! You’re right! It’s not about what sales people want you to pay. It’s what you’re willing to pay. We stood firm with our decision. It’s really unprofessional when your doing business and someone tells you they will call but and they don’t. They really weren’t trying to work with us. They wanted us to pay way more for a car due to the chip shortage. But what’s happening with the shortage has nothing to do with me. I’m not paying double just because you’re trying to squeeze every penny out of your customers and potential customers. That’s unethical.

Terrible experience with my new car

My brand new car wont drive straight and this dealership doesn't want to help me! This is my 4th Ranger Rover and I have never experienced anything like this!
