Bait and Switch-Dan O'Brien INFINITI - Hanover, MA

Dealer advertised a car at a certain price. Called to purchase the car and salesman said it was a mistake on the Internet and would not honor the advertised sales price. Salesman said manager would get back to me but did not. I thought these practices went out in the 1980's. Very disappointed.

This dealership is incompetent and the workers here flat out do not care. I bought my car here on January of 2020. I came in to fix a headlight issue and they stated there was also damage to my tire and asked if I wanted that fixed. I bought wheel and tire warranty so I said that it wasn't my priority but if my warranty covers it, then i will have it fixed. The miscommunication came from a warranty issue; the advisor stated my car was covered and ready to go. Reading through it myself, I told them that they needed prior authorization in order to work on it. The problem is, the service advisors authorized for a tire replacement on my car without my say-so. After they lied to me and said the tire was on the side and not placed on my vehicle yet, they had me call the warranty company up ( After they went and placed the new tire on my car already ). The issue was not covered because the service advisor said i hit a curb which never came out of my mouth. The real problem was that they placed the new tire on my car already without confirming a claim with the warranty and said they couldn't take it off for to be replaced with the one i already had on because they cannot accept it back after it was placed on my car. They basically put a tire on my car with out my say-so and forced me to buy it. I reluctantly paid because it was the morally correct thing to do on my part. As i go back to my car, theres a scuff on my driver side fender that they caused and did not tell me about. I booked an appointment for 2 days later for it be fixed and when I got there, they gave me a run around about rescheduling because they no longer had a loaner car for me that was requested when the appointment was made. I will never step foot back in here for anything and I caution you to do the same. Nobody seems to care about the issues that are present and nobody will accommodate like they should when they cause the problem. Everybody at least that I dealt with shifts the blame to somewhere else. They present themselves as kind and polite when you first come in but underneath that is incompetence and carelessness when it comes to being professional about their work. I bought my car here when it was owned by PRIME but DAN O'BRIEN is the new dealership that inherited a bad dealership and it seems they are accepting of their ways as they continue to show that they also do not care.
