Stay away!
Stay away! Jeremy Todd and Kyle Bertsch are not to be trusted. I bought a trade-in 2006 Infiniti FX35 from Rohrman less than 5 months ago. I took it in last month for a tune-up and to my surprise was taken back to the service bay and shown by the mechanics and service rep that the rear control arms were cracked and completely rusted through, and told that the car was therefore unsafe to drive. I was informed I’d have to pay them to replace the control arms OR sign a liability waiver to drive it out of the service bay. In the words of the mechanic: “This is the worst I’ve ever seen, I can’t believe they sold you this car. There is no way they didn’t notice the safety issue.” I double-checked with a few mechanic friends who confirmed what the Infiniti mechanic said: this dealership DEFINITELY either didn’t examine the control arms (it’s clear as day when looking at the undercarriage, see pictures) OR they knew they were selling me a car with broken parts. My life was put in danger, and I was angry, but I wanted to give management the opportunity to make things right before jumping to conclusions. I called the manager, Alex Bertsch, and described the situation to him and he initially showed full understanding and sympathy, agreed that the car should never have been sold, and that he would talk to the GM, Jeremy Todd, to “try to make things right.” Fast forward a few days, and I talk to Alex again, who said, “Jeremy says you bought the car as-is, so there is nothing we can do.” I could sense in his voice he knew it was the wrong thing to say. So folks, they sold me a broken and dangerous car and when they were confronted with (and admitted) their negligence they refused to budge an inch, let alone make things right. It's incredible they think they can get away with this stuff. So… stay away! You could be taking your life into your own hands. This isn’t right, and it is NOT how business should be done. Shameful.
