2023 Hyundai Tucson Overview

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson is a compact SUV that seats five passengers. Last year, it was redesigned with sleek front-end and muscular body lines. Inside, it features an eight-inch touchscreen multimedia system, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB charging ports at front and rear seats. It competes with the Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, and Toyota RAV4.

Five trims are available: SE, SEL, XRT, N Line, and Limited.

Under the hood, the Tucson is powered by a standard 187-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional. Fuel economy for the FWD Tucson is an EPA-estimated rating of 26/33 mpg city/highway. It slightly decreases to a 24/29 mpg rating for the AWD Tucson.
