The 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe is a full-size SUV that seats up to seven passengers across three rows. Maximum cargo capacity is 72.1 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.
Five trim levels are available: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy.
Powering the Santa Fe is a standard 191-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Limited and higher trims have a more powerful 281-hp, turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is joined with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. For both engine options, front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is available.
Fuel economy for the 2.5L FWD Santa Fe is an EPA-estimated rating of 25/28 mpg city/highway. It lowers to a 22/25 mpg rating for the 2.5L AWD models. The Turbo 2.5L FWD has a rating of 22/28 mpg, while the Turbo 2.5L AWD model has a 21/28 mpg rating.
