1st time owning a SUV.

Never owned a SUV before. It's amazing. The ease of getting in and out. Gas mileage is great. The best purchase I've ever made besides my home.

I love my Santa Fe! I only wish it had auto trunk opening but, otherwise it’s perfect. It’s deep metallic blue and the color is gorgeous

Exterior
Overall, the Santa Fe Sport has a sleek, chiseled front-end that includes a hollowed-out grille and an aggressive fascia. Under the Hood
The Santa Fe Sport is powered by a standard 185-hp, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. A 240-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder is available as well. This year, horsepower had been downgraded to marginally improve fuel economy and torque. Fuel economy for the base model is an EPA-estimated 21/27 mpg city/highway. It dips slightly to a 20/26 mpg for the base model with AWD. The turbocharged 2.0-liter model earned a 20/28 mpg rating and 19/24 rating with AWD.

Interior
Inside, the Santa Fe Sport features a premium cloth interior with updated technology.  The center console houses a standard audio system that has Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, satellite radio, CD/MP3 playback, and a USB port. It can be upgraded to include a 7- or 8-inch touchscreen, an integrated navigation system, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility, and an Infinity premium audio system. The available Hyundai Blue Link Connected car system comes with safety, diagnostic, and remote access features. Other interior options include dual-zone automatic climate control, leather seating, wood-finish trim, a memory seat, power/heated/cooled seats, adaptive cruise control, and automatic dimming rearview mirror. A 40/20/40 split-folding rear bench seat and 12-volt power outlets come standard.

Safety

Standard features include a backup camera and a tire pressure monitoring system. A blind spot warning system, rear-cross traffic alert, lane change assist, a surround view camera system, and lane departure warning are also available.
