Don't Overpay for Your New Hyundai Palisade

2024 Hyundai Palisade Overview

Hyundai’s luxurious family bus, the Palisade, joins the blackout mob for 2024 with the new Calligraphy Night Edition. Beyond that, all Palisades now come with standard dual-zone climate control and second-row automatic climate control, as well as new starting prices: The 2024 Palisade starts at $37,735 (all prices include $1,335 destination charge).

Something for Everyone
Additional standard equipment on the base SE includes 18-inch wheels, LED front lighting, eight-passenger cloth seating, keyless entry and starting, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite and HD radio, and Wi-Fi.

The SEL adds LED taillights, puddle lamps, a hands-free power liftgate, synthetic leather upholstery with heated eight-way power front seats, seven- or eight-passenger seating configurations, acoustic front windows and wireless smartphone charging. Hyundai’s soft-road XRT trim includes black 20-inch wheels, black front and rear skid plates, and a power moonroof; it’s only available with second-row captain’s chairs for a seven-passenger capacity. XRT and higher trims also now get manual rear window sunshades.

Hyundai starts piling on the luxury equipment with the Limited, which adds acoustic side glass front and rear; a dual-panel panoramic sunroof; leather seating with adjustable-length bottom cushions for the fronts, heated seats for all three rows, and ventilated front and second-row seats; a 630-watt Harman Kardon stereo with 12 speakers; a 360-degree camera system; head-up display; ambient lighting; and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with blind spot cameras.

At the top of the lineup, the Calligraphy includes unique 20-inch wheels, body-color bumpers, a gloss-black and chrome grille, satin-chrome skid plates, Nappa leather and automated parking. Paint it all black (or dark gray) and add all-wheel drive and you’ve got yourself a Calligraphy Night Edition, which adds dark trim and accents in and out, including black wheels, roof rails, grille and skid plates, and dark leather.

All Palisades are powered by a 291-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on all trims; AWD costs $2,000 except for the Calligraphy Night Edition, which is AWD only. FWD variants get an EPA-rated 19/26/22 mpg city/highway/combined, and AWD versions get 19/24/21 mpg.
