The Kona has two engine options: a standard 147-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission and a more powerful 195-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder joined with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available.
