This car shows promise!

by 703Jerry from Woodbridge, VA | March 06, 2020

We've only owned it for about a month but this car is really showing promise and a ton of value. Despite the SE being the base model, it does come very nicely equipped. The standard headlights are crap and the engine is just good enough. With a large display that provides interconnectivity to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the infotainment has a lot of potential. Seating is roomy enough but the front doors don't seem to open as wide as I would expect. This could be an issue if you're stature is closer to that of a football lineman than that of a Kenyan marathoner. Overall, the Kona is fun to drive and handles well. The plasticky steering wheel can be a little off-putting but that can be updated with a simple leather steering wheel cover. It seems that the heater may be a little weak but we're still trying to figure that one out.

In love with this vehicle

by Cmoore from Atlanta GA | February 14, 2020

I am averaging 38.5 miles a gallon. I even had a chance to take in in the snow, handled it no problem. Really is just a fantastic vehicle.

Very pleased

by DAK from North Easton, MA | February 12, 2020

I have been very pleased with the overall performance. My wife loves the heated seats. I have had strangers compliment the color and design. I’d buy this car again. It’s caused me to consider buying yet another Hyundai.
