bad customer experience

Bad business.. cannot be trusted. We agreed on the price; I sent all requested documentation including social security number. I was told they would fedex documents to be signed. The sales person I was working with was off for a few days. The sales manager Eric Clark, knew the vehicle was being sold already by another sales person, but then sold it to someone else without contacting them or me first. Sales here are just transactions without any concern for customer experience. If you value trust and don’t want your time wasted, avoid these guys. They don’t care about their customers, just their numbers.

New Tucson. Lies

. I traveled over 300 miles from Oregon to purchase the Tucson. The gentlemen's agreement was reached on the price of the vehicle and was expected to be honored and was not. I left early in the morning before you opened and when you did open I was informed by your sales manager that they just started a $699 out of state fee. When I protested about this hidden fee it was negotiated down to $300. I spent over six hours of my time at your dealership and due to the deceptive practices of your sales manager and the vehicle being damaged upon delivery the vehicle was not purchased. When I mentioned these facts to the sales manager his comment was he preferred I did not buy the vehicle because he was not making any money and he could sell it to somebody else for more this comment was very unprofessional. This interaction will not only be reflected in a negative survey but a letter will be sent to the Better Business Bureau the regional manager of Hyundai and the Attorney General of Washington and posted on my social media. I took my business to the Auburn Hyundai dealer and was able to save an additional $1,200 on the tucson. I hope in the future you will treat your out-of-state buyers with more respect and Fair pricing and not just look to make an extra dollar.

Everything turned out great...

Everything turned out great, good financing for a great car, so I'm not gonna complain about how it got to the point, but I wanted to give some advice to others buying a car anywhere really to avoid some of the issues I ran into when here: If you have pre-qualified for financing (which I think is a good idea in general, especially with a bank you already do business with such as with a checking account or credit card because they have access to a clearer picture of your financial situation than just the details on a credit application) don't let them blow off taking the reference number for that deal, insist they take it so they can reference it throughout the process especially in case it gets handed off anywhere to someone else; even if you pre-apply online, bring all your information with you just in case so you aren't scrambling to think of it off the top of your head or pull it together from your phone once you're there; ask to see the sheet of information they are going to be looking at when submitting information to the banks and verify that every single detail is correct, particularly the social security number; and most importantly, if things aren't adding up to you don't let them make you feel like you you just don't understand how these things work, this is your time and money on the line, you are the vulnerable one, stop them and have them explain to you how things are working out to be the way they are so you have a chance to weed out any misunderstandings or lapses in communication that might complicate the process. At first I was like I must be really dumb or something because I was like blindsided with how different things were going than I expected, and slowly, not gonna lie, I started thinking like 'oh no am I getting scammed?!' But, no, it was just plain old human error that can be avoided with the above considerations. Everybody was really nice (and I interacted with quite a few people during all of this so that is fortunate) and I don't think this experience reflects how they operate in general, it think outside of pandemic times it would likely have went smoother all around, so I'd still recommend this place, but I'd make sure the above was well accounted for first.
