Hyundai of Greer We have been very disappointed with our experience with Greer Hyundai over the past 4 years of owning a Hyundai. Which, unfortunately has also been a reflection of our experience with the vehicle as well. One major recall to replace an engine. Only to have the “newly installed” engine also break. Not once but twice. And both times on our dime. The experience with the “ service” department was extremely upsetting. During the first recall we waited just over 4 months for the engine to be replaced. We were told by Brandi, the Service Rep, that because of the recall our rental would be covered. This was not at all the case, according to Hertz rental who continues to send the $3k bill to us directly. We still cannot get someone to contact us over this issue from Hyundai of Greer Service. After the first motor was replaced and before the 2nd scheduled oil change, the engine gave out again. Hyundai of Greer made us cover $3500 in fixing the “newly replaced” engine. Sighting that it was no longer warrantied. Funny thing is they said a bolt was broken that holds the tensioner pulley….. Fun fact is I drove it there. Anyone who know a bit about cars would know, it would not be able to be driven if that was truly the case. Aka their tech broke this bolt off when removing and then blamed the bolt which should still be warrantied…. But they “worked with me on the price”. After this incident we called corporate and told them what happened. They showed no concern and told us there was nothing they could do and sided with the dealership. Three week ago the “newly replaced” engine blew for the 2nd time with no sign or warning. I called Brandi the day of engine issue, the service rep, and left a message in hopes of getting a return phone call back. I have still not received a call back. I will say Brandi, when I did get to speak to her was very polite and pleasant. We maintenance our vehicles often and use synthetic oils. There has been no neglect on our end. It has been so disheartening to have this experience with such a reputable brand. We will steer clear of the Hyundai brand and this dealership from this point on. We will also be telling friends and family the same. If you want a honest place to service your vehicle and a place that cares about customer service, Hyundai of Greer is not for you. If you are looking for a place that operates shady business practices and does not communicate look no further, Hyundai of Greer will over deliver in these two areas.

Had a hyundai Sonta took it to them and I had to call to

Had a hyundai Sonta took it to them and I had to call to find out about status Brandi the service writer and the service Manger both of them was very rude. Never could get Brandi to return my calls and was told the service manager would talk to me after I had went by to check on the car. Then I was told the service Manager was to busy to even come out and talk to me. Had the recall issue with the motor but according to the them it was fixed after 3 month of them not even looking at it didn't even get a mile from the dealer ship and had to have it towed back in again. Was told they could not get it to do what was happening then it come up that it was fuel pump dealer was going to be around 1500 to install fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump that did not help the problem. Even called. Hyundai service care team here it is a year later and they just now calling never by a hyundai again and I advise everyone to avoid them and do not buy any car form hyundai of greer Sorry service.

Hyundai of Greer will charge you unjustified market

Hyundai of Greer will charge you unjustified market adjustments and also will include unnecessary add-ons that they refuse to remove. I visited in the past month to purchase a Santa Fe Hybrid that was being shipped to the dealer. I asked the sales manager to exclude all of the dealer add-ons when they fill out the PDI upon delivery. The response was that they were going to charge me regardless if I elected to have the add-ons installed or not. Hard pass on this place. I will go out of my way to buy from another Hyundai dealer in the future.
