Bad place to take your car for service

This Service Department at this dealership has been horrible to deal with. I brought my 2013 for an engine that had skipped time(which needed to be replaced) it was 103,000(we bought the car used 6 months before). Had to have it taken to a dealership to see if warranty will cover. Brought it here(big mistake). Told me they wouldn't be able to see it for a week. Three hours later called with 5.200 dollars for engine replacement. Then said they wouldn't send it to warranty, because there were bolts that were stripped and broken, so warranty will never cover that. I work at a school where auto mechanical is taught. The Certified Mechanic who teaches the class did the engine himself, and said there were no broken or stripped bolts. Hmmmmm. Called customer service of Hyundai they told me to tell them to submit it anyway. They did. The service manager responded to me at first, but then once this started to drag out stopped responding to emails. Let two messages, one day left after I left a message, then called back left for the day. This started April 4 on April 30th Hyundai requested something for my car, to see if they were going to cover it. They didn't do it for two days, so Hyundai closed it(which is messed up on both parties) until i called back Hyundai the asked for it again. Meanwhile no communicating from service department at all. This dealership in my eyes just want to scam and make money. They came back to me with what Hyundai wants them to do. It would cost me 1,000 dollars. In my eyes a family who has bought 5 hyundai's shouldn't be treated like this. Corporate and this dealership don't really care about loyalty. I even bought one of my Hyundai's from this dealership. I never had to use service for it though. They don't care about customers, It's about the money. I towed my car from there, and getting someone local to replace the engine much cheaper. My family and anyone who reads this on my Facebook page will know how this dealership and Hyundai treat their customers now.

Excellent dealing with Matt and Bill

I just purchased a 2021Kona and the negotiation could not have been smoother. Matt was reasonable on the trade in and went down to a fair price on the new Kona. Bill had the car ready and waiting for me at the time requested in immaculate condition and took the time to show me all the details of the vehicle. They are my dealership now. ( This was my second negotiation with them that went smoothly). Great job Matt and Bill !!!

Deceitful, Unprofessional, Shameful

This dealership had a car I wanted. Initially they wanted $2,000 over MSRP. They offered to sell for $1,000 over MSRP, I declined. I waited several weeks and eventually they offered to sell it for MSRP. I told them I would need somewhere in the NADA Average to Clean Trade in Value on my car, and gave them the details, info and VIN etc.. they said they would most likely be in that range on trade. When I brought it in, they were $3,000 below the bottom of the range, and $2,000 below NADA Rough Trade In, for a car that needed no work, has a clean carfax and no accidents. They wouldn't budge or compromise at all on the trade offer. I even offered to let it go for $1,000 below NADA Rough Trade In, and they still declined. Clearly they lied about a possible trade value to get me in the door and expected me to accept an unreasonable offer. I had other Hyundai Dealers offering me way more, and laughing at these guys for what they offered. Don't waste your time here, you will be treated like you don't know anything and robbed blind if you're not careful.
