A Big Mistake

I bought a 2013 dodge grand caravan from Irwin Hyundai on February 7th 2023. A little over a month after having it it needed $1300 for a flex plate which we had to pay for. Now it needs an ac pump for $700 and on my way home this morning it's making another horrible noise. I don't even know if it's safe to drive. I also was charged an extra $1300 when we purchased it they couldn't explain why but I did get it back. They refuse to help with the issues we have with it since we bought it. I have 5 years to pay on my loan and can't even drive it. The decent thing to do would be to fix it but instead they will not take my calls and have been told not to talk to me. I'm sorry I bought anything from them and we DO NOT recommend anyone purchase anything. I did read the reviews before I bought and read the reviews which seem to be good ones, I found out after I put a bad review in they deleted it so don't pay attention to all the good reviews. I'm sure they will delete this one as well but I will keep posting until they rectify our problem.

Market Pricing.

This dealer is participating in market pricing and isn’t up front about it until you start the paperwork process. That means you will pay $3000-$4000 more for a vehicle and will explain to you that due to having low inventory, the company doesn’t want to lay off employees and expenses within the company have forced them to do this. So if you don’t mind paying $3000.-$4000 more than what a car is adverstised as, then I am sure this place is for you. But if you want to get a better deal, seek out a different dealer and ensure you ask about market price increasing.

Great experience

From the salesman, Joe, who greeted us and took care of every question and concern, to the service and financing departments who completed their jobs flawlessly, this was the easiest and well coordinated used car buying experience we have had. We are totally pleased with the vehicle, the repairs completed, and the speed of completion of the transaction. We could not have asked for more, and all of this while the dealership dealt with the largest snowstorm of the past few years. Congrats!
