Service department gives lots of excuses.
Service department gives lots of excuses. Won't work on a loaner vehicle when they don't have the part and the 2 weeks are up. Call to talk to service and receptionist Dianna says we close in 5 minutes and you will need to call back.

My Recent July 6, 2022 Service was Not Satisfactory.
My Recent July 6, 2022 Service was Not Satisfactory. The Service Staff was Rude. The Invoice Included a Car Wash and Vacuum. The Dealer Did Not Build a Car Wash. I was Given a Coupon to Drive Way West to an Unassisted Car Wash. I Went Out West One Time and Once to a Bucky's. Both Had No Attendant. To Add to My Frustrating Experience, My Car was NOT Vacuumed at the Dealership . The Complaint Department Offered to Vacuum My Car If I Would Return to the Dealership. A 20 Minute Drive Each Way was INCONVENIENT. I Declined. There was No Manager at the Dealership. Mr. Hinkle was Out of the Office Until July 12th. No One was Designated as a Manager. Also, My A/ C is Not Functioning Well. I was Told It Would be 4 to 6 Weeks Before An Appt Would be Available. I Feel the Woodhouse Hyundai Service Department is Disappointing and Obviously Understaffed.

I had called and spoke with one of their sales reps about
I had called and spoke with one of their sales reps about a Palisade they had on the lot that was not yet claimed by a buyer. I set up a time to come in. The rep had me sit down so they can do their "process" of asking you a bunch of questions like what you want in features, color, about your trade, etc. The first question this man asked was whether "I was authorized to make the decision that day"! I'm a 46 year old white woman who came in dressed appropriately and while none of that should obviously matter it just sets the scene that before asking me anything else (even about my credit for crying out loud much less the vehicle I wanted), that was what he wanted to know!?!? Are you kidding me? In 2022? Moving on, we would have purchased that Palisade that day if they had a. not decided to add on a $3000 "market adjustment" while lying that "everyone is forced to do it" due to the inventory/competition/etc. and b. didn't low-ball my trade. He asked me a ton of questions filling out their "form" on the trade, only to come back with a verbal low offer. We ended up buying from Beardmore who are just charging MSRP (and without a ridiculous requirement of a paint package some dealerships are doing to get around the term market adjustment) and with a written and very fair offer on our trade that we didn't have to haggle to get. Instead of driving off the lot in a vehicle that day I waited about 6 weeks just to have an experience with Beardmore that was like night and day from Woodhouse. Before I go, here is the kicker!!! The rep (Monte) continued to send me text messages accusing Beardmore of all kinds of things like selling vehicles that don't exist or the same vehicle to multiple customers, etc. It was really just poor business practices at its finest. When I sent the screenshots to the Beardmore rep and sales manager they were class acts and simply said what a shame, we know they're better than that. So - you can buy from the big Woodhouse dealer who may not treat you (or others) with respect or give you a fair deal or you can go to the smaller Beardmore dealer and get an experience and deal beyond what my husband and I have ever had with car dealerships!
