They gave me $8,000.
They gave me $8,000.00 for my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser as a trade-in and said that was to much. Two days later they put it up for sale at $23,000.00. This is very un-business like.

The FJ that you traded needed a lot of repairs to pass MSI and to qualify to be sold off our lot, we will not sell a vehicle until these repairs along with All repairs need to make a safe vehicle for the next customer. When we trade a vehicle, we account for some repairs hence the amount we gave this customer. Now that we have had a chance to get a technician to look over the vehicle, we found a lot of repairs not visible to us at the time we traded. We would hope that a customer would tell of these issues at the time we are trading , but generally this doesn’t happen , and in some cases the customer might know of these repairs . Now that we have traded this FJ, we must spend more than we expected to bring it up to our standard of safety. We will have to ask enough to recoup our money and back our 6-month, 6000-mile warranty we offer at time of sale as well so the vehicle would qualify for the purchase of an extended warranty.
