I brought my 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport to Ourisman
I brought my 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport to Ourisman Hyundai in Laurel for routine service at around 15,195 miles. I take very good care of my car. I stay current on oil changes, tire rotations, cabin air filter changes and engine air filter changes. During this visit, I was told I needed a brake fluid flush and a full wheel alignment. Since the recommendations did not seem to match my mileage or driving experience, I went to Firestone for a second opinion. They inspected the brake fluid visually and confirmed that it looked normal and did not need to be changed. They also checked the alignment and said it was only slightly off and not a safety concern. In other words, neither service was actually needed at this time. I felt pressured into believing something was wrong with my car when it was not. I reached out to the dealership about my concerns. The service manager called me and apologized and acknowledged that the way the recommendations were given to me was not handled properly. He also said the department was going through training to prevent situations like this. I was told I would receive a goodwill option and followed up by email. After choosing the service credit option, I never received a confirmation. It has now been a week with no response. I usually do not leave negative reviews, but this experience made me feel like I was almost taken advantage of. I want other customers to be aware of how important it is to get a second opinion if something does not feel right. I expected better communication and follow through from a dealership that represents a major brand. This experience damaged my trust as a customer and I hope the dealership takes corrective steps for the future.

I brought my new Hyundai Kona to Fort Meade Hyundai three
I brought my new Hyundai Kona to Fort Meade Hyundai three separate times for the same unresolved issue and was without my car for a total of 22 days. Despite repeated promises of follow-ups, I was never called back, and I had to escalate the issue myself. I contacted both the Service Director and the General Manager, expecting improved communication — but even then, there was no consistent follow-through or urgency. No loaner vehicle was ever provided, even though the repair stretched over multiple weeks and my car was still under full warranty. The purchase experience also raised concerns — the vehicle was driven from another location without disclosure, and I was asked not to complete the Hyundai Corporate survey after the sale. What made things worse was that the vehicle was returned to me with a strong smell of cigarette smoke inside, which I can only assume happened while it was in their care. There was no explanation or apology — just more silence. In every area — sales, service, and management — the customer experience fell far short of acceptable. Hyundai should take a closer look at how this dealership is treating its customers.

They have been lying to me from day one!
They have been lying to me from day one! It started with a shady deal to begin with. I was told if I came back with 10k I could refinance my car putting the 10k down and refinance it. That was xxxxxxxx too. Everyone I talk to says stay away from you! I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But Rick just can't help xxxxxxxxxxxx me and the banks. I am tired of trusting you. I plan to hit every review portal I can to spread the word of this crap.
