Getting an additional key programed for my car

They lack quality control and follow through. I have went to them six different times to try to get a key fob programmed. I thought it was something simple to get a key fob programmed. However, they kept telling me that it was bad key fobs that I purchased from them. The last visit they now said it was the computer in the car and had to contact ford customer service and would call me. Although, they didn’t call me nor have contacted me to keep me informed throughout this painful process. I spoke with Chuck a customer service rep and he kept telling me that he would call back and never did. I was told that to replace the computer in the car it would be another $400 just for parts and no guarantee that they would be able to program my keep. I asked them, if it was the computer wouldn't my current key would and was told I do not know by the service tech. I asked to be refunded my money and Chuck for over 2 weeks kept telling me that he needed to check with the manager. How long does it take to check with the manager? I called on 9/21/2022 and was informed that they were not going to refund any of my money. I currently waiting to hear back from the manager (Patrick) but more than likely will have to report it to my credit card service. I was charged for a service that they could not or did not provide. In addition, refuse to refund my money for the key and/or service charges. I only went to them because I have a Ford vehicle but it will not happen again.

Shady sales tactics.

This dealership likes to list popular cars "for sale" that they don't actually have for sale. Example, the Ford Maverick they just listed on cars.com doesn't actually exist. When I called to enquire about it they simply said, "we do not have any Ford Mavericks and none will be available till August." "Okay, so why do you have one listed for sale?" The man just chuckled and didn't give an explanation. Seems like they are trying to lure people in by listening "hot" cars then trying to sell them something else. It's a shady tactic if you ask me.
