Watch out for This Dealership!

Things started off well with this dealership. The sales rep. searched around the area and found the perfect vehicle for me. They brought it to Grand Jct. from out of town and did their inspection. All was great, I bought the vehicle and took it home. About 2 months later I pulled my vehicle into the driveway and saw it smoking from the engine. Turns out, it has an oil leak coming from the valve cover gaskets. I called my sales rep. and she assured me they would take care of any problems. I had purchased a warranty when I purchased the vehicles, so I wasn't too concerned. I scheduled an appt. and took the vehicle back to Red Rock Hyundai. They kept it over night and confirmed that the leak was from the valve covers. This is where things turned. While talking with the service dept. The girl read off a list of things from the inspection they did before I bought the vehicle. On the list was the oil leak. She told me the "passed" on the repair! Now, I was not notified of any issues when I bought it, certainly wasn't told by my sales rep that it had ANY issues. She told me it was in perfect shape. In other words she lied. Then the service dept tells me that they won't cover any repairs per the purchase agreement AND that the warranty I PURCHASED won't cover the repair as well. On top of it all, the sales rep, who promised to help take care of the problem, will not return my calls or talk with me. They want to charge me $1500 for the repairs, $400 for the valve cover gaskets alone that I can purchase at O'Reily's for $150. They even wanted to charge me for looking at the vehicle, a service fee of $170 until I almost lost it on them. I that fee was waived. All in all, this dealership has turned out to be terrible. They act like they want to help you and that they care, but in reality they will lie about inspections, hide issues, and will not honor their warranties. Don't buy a car here!

The service department stinks!

We had to have our air conditioning worked on 3 times within a month because it was blowing warm air, yet they kept saying it was fine and blowing cold air. After the 3rd time of the service dept. Working on it, it blows semi cool air. But here's the kicker. A year after all of this, my husband went to change the cabin air filter and there wasn't one. The mechanic never put it back in. This mechanic deserves to be fired!!!! We have have had nothing but problems with the device department! My advise to people is that I would think twice about buying a vehicle here.

BEWARE of service department

Arrived for a service appointment expecting extra time needed for a 'RECALL' plus the oil/filter change. I was told that the item needed on the 'RECALL' was not available even though I had made the appointment the day before. Okay.....So they preceded to with the oil/filter change. I indicated that the air filter could wait till next service date. I also indicated that fluid for the window washer was low and needed to be filled. Needless to say, I had to ask for additional fluid since it was only half full or less. After the oil change, a air filter and cabin filter was shown to me from another car that needed to be replaced. I indicated that those filters were not from my car. I also observed that it appeared the old oil filter was re-used after the oil change. I am making this statement based on direct eye-sight of the oil change procedure and the color of the new oil after the service. Don't expect to return to this service department in the future for any of their services. It's sad that a dealership can get a bad review from one or more of it's departments.
