As a loyal Honda Accord owner of many years, I strongly do not recommend Allen Honda Dealership in College Station. They treated me unfairly during my recent purchase of a used Honda CR-V Hybrid. Please read the “anonymous Honda driver” review on February 28, 2025. They write about unexplained “accessories” for $4500 added to their purchase of a used Odyssey. My experience is very similar. My BIG mistake was not to ask what these added “accessories” pertained to before signing the invoice. I wrongly assumed they were charges for luxury items in the car by the previous owner. After the purchase and my subsequent inquiry, I was told, to my surprise, that these were warranties I had purchased. Allen Honda has refused to authorize a refund. They should have been magnanimous enough to accept my mistaken belief regarding the reason for those accessories and reimburse me for what I did not knowingly purchase. I agree with the Odyssey reviewer that their conduct was “unethical”. I will not buy a car from Allen Honda again and consider myself no longer a loyal Honda customer.

Avoid This Dealership—Unnecessary and Overpriced Repair Suggestions I had a very disappointing experience at Allen Honda in College Station, Texas. I took my car in for a diagnosis after experiencing issues, only to be told that I needed a new transmission, which would cost $8,600. After further investigation, I discovered that the real issue was a damaged sensor—one that had failed due to a faulty battery that I had paid $290 for them to install just a few months prior. What was a simple $20 repair turned into an overwhelming, expensive suggestion for a major replacement. This feels like a clear case of upselling unnecessary services, which is both frustrating and dishonest. I feel misled and taken advantage of. I encourage others to be cautious and seek a second opinion before committing to any significant repairs at this dealership. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them for service or repairs.
