McKinney Salinas Honda Gastonia NC: The beautiful review I left on their FB page. and I am just getting started..... I have taken my 2019 Honda Civic to this dealership twice now.... for the same thing. I bought the car in Knoxville Tn brand new in 2019, moved to SC in Aug 2020 and my AC stopped working. Took the car to the dealership, they apparently temporarily fixed it, and the FIRST hot day of 2021.... my AC doesn’t work again. The trip to the dealership is 1 hour round from where I live... we have made 6 trips.... for Air Conditioning. The first time...their machine wasn’t working....took it back again..they ran dye thru and filled the Freon, then when the air conditioning stopped working again, it was the compressor (which probably was junk the first time but nobody cared to fix it right)... had to order parts....took the car in for service.... wrong parts had been delivered.....had to go back and get a rental.... Rental was FILTHY!!!! So bad I took pictures to make sure they didn’t blame the mess on me!!! NASTY!!! Then had to drive there again to pick my car up once the correct parts were received and the car was done. Both times in service... no car wash...no nothing. Used to be a dealership would AT LEAST wash your car as a pleasant “Thank you” for using our dealership.... NOT this dealership. Sooooo dissatisfied with the whole situation, and when the girl called me to ask about my experience, and I told her what I had been thru to just get the air conditioning working in my NEW CAR.... she had the manager call me. NOTHING but excuses. Dude... just say you are sorry you dropped the ball...because YOU GUYS totally did.... I do not want nor care to hear all of your excuses. I will NEVER use this dealership again... I will ABSOLUTELY caution anyone else from using this dealership. And to top it off.... BECAUSE of this dealership, I will NEVER buy a Honda again. First time Honda buyer... LAST time Honda buyer. I purchase a new car every 3-4 years to AVOID these situations.... and that DID NOT happen with this first time purchase of a Honda. I have NEVER had a Chevy give me problems at 1 year old. Had a friend at work tell me Hendrix Honda in Charlotte washed AND detailed her car when she took it in for service...this dealership manager told me they have not washed cars in service for the past 2 years because they do not have the “manpower” to do so. Well....maybe if your service didn’t SUCK, you would have more customers and therefore be able to afford the “manpower” to THANK Your customers for using your dealership. Just sayin.

I purchased a used SUV from this dealership and the sales team could not be better. But the service department is lacking. We were told that the car had been gone through thoroughly in the service department or it would not be on the lot. But truth to be told, the SUV was 3.5 quarts low in motor oil, and the breather cover was broken with the air filter sticking out. Of course I had all this fixed on my $$$ when it should had been corrected while they were servicing prior to sell. I also told the service manager and all was said, He was going to see who did the service on the SUV at least they could had offered to pay me back..

I found a car I liked on Friday, test drove it, thought about it for a couple of days. On Monday I let my sales girl Arielle know that I would be there by noon to finalize my purchase. When I got there she had all my paper work ready and it was such an easy and pleasant process. Bobby Ford the Manager and Chris who finished my title paperwork were both wonderful. I usually don't go to dealerships but the next time I need to purchase a car I will definitely come back here. They even removed my DVD players from my headrest out of my trade in at no extra cost. Thank you all so much!
