Honda CR V Hybrid, 2020

Salesperson Michelle showed me a 2020 CRV Hybrid , I ask the price and her manager call with a price of $21,575 , sticker was $28,800, ,he said they had too long and wanted to move it, Michelle insist I drive it home over night , I did, I call next morning to buy it , Michelle ask for a cashiers check , I said ok, when I Asked the total with tax she said $28,000 , I told her the price the manager gave me she said she would call me back, She did with another price of $25500 plus tax, so I took the CRV back, I haven’t got an attorney involved

Purchased 2016 Honda Odyssey

We have been to five different dealerships before we found our vehicle at Don Jacobs. Our sales person was not pushy and very helpful. They also offered some warranty options a few of the other lots did not. Would recommend.

When his key no longer unlocked his car door, we recommended that our young international friend (here to attend UK) take his car to Don Jacobs to have the door lock repaired. He was originally quoted $121, then called with a revised quote of $221.09 and when he came to pick up his vehicle, the total charge was $1,788.93, which he did NOT authorize (although DJ SAYS that he did, he says he did not). They totally took advantage of a young international student. "If any aspect of your visit cannot be rated as excellent, please call our service manager, Jeff Smith..." Well we did that to no avail... ended up having to pay $1,325 (after they suggested WE pay the bill for our friend.) After doing business there for almost 40 years, we will never step foot on the property again. Samples of unnecessary maintenance and price gouging include: front brake pads & rotors: $393.99; replace brake fluid and flush lines, $84.25; replaced in-cabin air filter (that had already been replaced a year ago) $56.53; replaced front wiper blades $80 (are you kidding me?); replace antifreeze, and just check thermostat and fan operation $90.61; replace transmission fluid $93.61; "valve adjustment" $133.99; replace spark plugs (apparently they replaced 4 plugs) $137.42; replaced serpentine belt $148.99. His car was having no problems, none of these repairs were requested. He simply wanted to be able to have a working key. After meeting with the manager, the bill was reduced only 25% (originally almost $1,800 from a $121 estimate). Our friend still doesn't have a key that will unlock his door and start the engine; he has to use two keys for this. I don't know how they look at themselves in the mirror. Totally unacceptable customer service - totally untrustworthy business
