Disappointing Experience

Very disappointed in the overall experience at Bosak when purchasing a certified used car. This was my second car purchase from this dealership and definitely my last. The car was advertised and listed as certified with a specific price and then when I went to look at numbers and specifics, they told me I had to pay an additional $1,800 for the certification on top of the price on the website. I went to the website and asked them to show me where it says that in the fine print but they couldn’t show me. This is not a standard thing at all Honda dealers, as I had looked at two certified used Hondas elsewhere and was told certified cars are priced a little higher because of the certification. We agreed on a few items to be taken care of on the “We owe you” list during purchase and the quality and effort was sad. I was told the paint used for touch up on the car “was not an exact match” which you can tell 100% and “we do not have touch up paint for the lower part of the rear bumper cover” which they agreed to touch up. If it isn’t something they could do, they should have never agreed to it. I have questioned the “certification” process on the car as I didn’t get the Honda checklist and have had a few questions/issues and the communication with the sales manager and the customer service has been terrible. The finance told me they would offer me Honda Care at their best price because I was a previous customer and quoted me $2,400. I wasn’t interested in adding that at the time and was told I had to do it before the end of the month which isn’t true. I called another Honda dealership and was quoted $700 less for the exact same Honda Care extended warranty. I don’t feel the dealer was upfront and honest in many ways during this process. I gave them a chance to make things better and sent numerous emails many with no resolution from Bosak.
