I have been to this dealership 3 times for car services/recalls. Each time has been an unpleasant experience. My family has purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. Totaling close to $60,000 in the last year. We took the first vehicle, a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer for an oil change. We made the appointment online and traveled all the way from Waynesboro to have the maintenance done as we are originally from the Covington area and would like to support local business. Upon arrival, I was told I did not have an appointment despite confirmation messages from the dealership. The second service appointment was for an oil change on a 2022 Buick Encore GX. Again, we traveled from Waynesboro to support a local business. It had been well over 2 hours and I had still not been notified my service was complete. I had to physically go to the dealership and ask before I would know. Even then, the office staff and technical staff were not sure and had to check. I was told of a recall that needed fixed on the vehicle and scheduled a follow up appointment 2 months in advance. When I traveled again from Waynesboro to go get the recall fixed, I was disappointed. My vehicle had been at the dealership over an hour when I received a message stating they could not fix the recall due to technical difficulties. When I spoke to the manager of the service department and explained my repeated issues when visiting this dealership all she offered was an apology. I will no longer seek service at this dealership, nor will I buy another car from it. Magic City GMC in Covington has lost a customer and I will be sure to tell anyone considering business with them of their repeated service failures, especially my contacts in the Covington area.

Courteous and friendly staff, clean and comfortable waiting room with coffee available. They were flexible in accommodating some last minute changes in what I wanted to have done and had good suggestions that saved me time and money.
