I trusted this dealership to repair my vehicle and instead ended up with significantly more damage and a $10,000 repair estimate. I brought my car in for a specific issue. They claimed it was fixed. It wasn’t. I returned the car, and after the second visit, the original problem still existed—but now new damage appeared to parts that were never part of the original repair. An independent inspection confirmed the damage was caused by the dealership’s service department. Because of this, my warranty was voided for the issue—yet the dealership refuses to take responsibility for their own work. There is still a loan on this vehicle, and I am now stuck paying for a car that was damaged by the very place that was supposed to fix it. If you value your time, money, and vehicle, be extremely cautious. Document everything and don’t take their word without proof.

I?m disappointed with the outcome of the repairs and some of the service. The issue was my check engine light was on, I requested a diagnostic, the results was defective evaporator system, $2000 to repair, I agreed, I drove the vehicle twice after repairs the second trip the check engine light came on. I took the car back they said both catalyst converters was bad and it would be an additional $4000 to repair, I declined and they charged me $200 for the second diagnostic which I believe should have been a warranty check. The explanation for why this wasn?t detected during the initial diagnostic check wasn?t acceptable to me and I consulted with other mechanics and they agreed with me. So I?m done with Freedom Chevrolet I wouldn?t recommend them if they were the only service center on earth.
