Not a Quality Dealership

On 7/16 I Purchased a Pre-Owned Dodge Ram 1500 From Sales Consultant Zach. The Advertised Vehicle Claimed to be In Excellent Condition with a Prior Inspection. I Drove the Truck Home and Attempted to Lock it. Neither of the 2 Included Key Fobs Would Operate the Features. In Fact, The Alarm Feature Would Actually Go Off EVERY Time I Tried to Manually Unlock the Vehicle and This Was Not What I Paid For! I Drove Back to Address the Issue Since It Was Now 1 Hour After Purchase Time. Upon Arrival, Zach Greeted me and Seemed Accommodating, Checking With Ira on a Solution. They Agreed to Have me Take it to Lithia Dodge and Have the Key Fobs Reprogrammed. On 7/20 I took it there and was Informed that I Needed to buy a New Key for $200. I Did This, In Hopes that it Would be an Easy Fix! I Wrong? They Said it Was Fixed and All Set with the New Key. I Figured the Situation was Remedied for Only an Additional $200. Well, Not the Case! Upon Driving Home the Fob Malfunctioned Again, and Clearly This Truck was Defective! I Have a Hard Time Believing that Nobody at GMC Beaverton Ever Locked or Unlocked the Vehicle While On the Lot! They Had to Know the Keys Were Not Even the Right Ones! I Immediately Returned to Lithia Dodge Again, and Upon Further Examination, They Claimed the Truck Needed a New Transmitter/Receiver for $270. I Agreed and It Was Supposed to be Fixed and Ready for Pick Up the Very Next Day(3rd Time). Being Skeptical at This Point, I Tested it On Site, and It Still Did NOT Work Correctly! On 7/22 I Contacted Zach and Informed Him of the Situation. Now I am Livid, As It Felt Like I Was Being Taken Advantage of! On 7/23 I Once Again Made the Drive Out to Beaverton GMC and Was Greeted by Zach and Ira. Again, Seemingly Accommodating, They Agreed to Accrue All Costs to Repair the Truck (If It Could Even be Repaired) Or Give me a Full Refund. Ira the Sales Manager Claimed That They Would NEVER Knowingly Sell a Defective Vehicle with Issues Such As Mine Had. We Agreed to Once Again Try to Fix the Truck Key Fobs Back at Lithia Dodge. I Agreed and Here's Where I Wait Some More. Another Week Goes By and No Word. Finally on 7/30 I Receive a Call Saying that The Truck is Actually Fixed and Has Been Tested On Site Multiple Times.I Show Up and It Appears to Work Fine. I am Relieved and Finally Able to be Excited about the Truck I Had Bought 2 Weeks Prior. I Get it Home and the Very Next Morning, I Try to Unlock it and the Alarm Starts Blaring! I Again Drive to Beaverton GMC on 7/31 Ready to Wash My Hands of This Whole Experience. On a Side Note, I Chose to Purchase from a Large Dealership (Instead of Off 82nd Ave For Instance) So This Kind of Thing Wouldn't Happen and I Wouldn't Be Sold a Defective Vehicle. You Don't Expect That Kind of Thing from a Large Dealership Like Beaverton GMC! At This Point, I Don't Even Want the Defective Truck Any More-The Whole Car Buying Experience Has Been Tainted and I’m Exhausted. Seemingly Apologetic,The Dealership Agrees to Take Back the Truck and Offers me a Full Refund (Minus the Full Tank of Gas I had Put in the Truck) and the $200 Key I Paid for Out of Pocket. No Big Deal and I Considered It a Small Loss. This is 7/30 (Saturday) and I am Told I Have to Leave the Truck and Come Back on Monday 8/2 for my Check Refund. An Inconvenience, But At This Point I am Just Glad There is an End in Sight. IMPORTANT PART: A Few Hours Later I Happen to Look at Trucks for Sale Online and I SEE THE SAME TRUCK (NEWLY RELISTED) FOR SALE AT BEAVERTON GMC UNREPAIRED AND ALREADY PUT UP FOR RESALE! I Had Not Even Received my Refund Check Yet and 1 Day Had Not Even Passed. If This is the Kind of “Service” GMC Beaverton Provides on a Regular Basis or the Kind of Defective Products They are Passing Off as "Quality Checked" Used Vehicles, Then They Should be Avoided at All Costs! It's Not Worth the Time or Hassle! This Situation Needed to Be Brought to the Attention of Anyone Considering Doing Business with Beaverton GMC

Jason Kusch sold me a silverado months ago and I was in the market for another car and remembered how awesome it was working with him. I went to him again and it was the same awesome experience. He knows what he's doing, he has lots of experience, and he's not trying to pressure you into a car. Best car buying experience I have had 2x now.
