Took our 2025 Traverse in for a warranty claim for water
Took our 2025 Traverse in for a warranty claim for water in the taillight. First day they had it told us it would be fixed by the end of the day didn’t get a phone call till almost 5 o’clock saying that they could not get to it. We had to have the car back so went and picked it up and scheduled another day. Took it back to get it replaced. We were informed that the person working on the vehicle supposedly dropped the tail light and cracked it and there will not be a replacement until the next day when I called them upset, saying how they have had it now for two whole days and nothing fixed and just generally being upset that we have to bring it back and figure out taking children to school and my wife to work, etc. the service manager, Christine hung up on me Because I told her I would like to talk with the general manager when he comes back the next day. I called back to file a complaint about her, got some other manager, who said that he would get her boss to contact me and that he would make it right. We were also told that it would be done the next morning at the very latest guess what wasn’t done until the next afternoon. Then they wouldn’t give me the keys back until they could find the paperwork well guess what of course Christine the service manager had it and they told me that it would not be returned without being paid. It’s a warranty claim we are not paying anything. I told him and he said oh I know then finally agreed to give me my keys back. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had and that’s pretty bad considering the last dealership we dealt with was just as bad and of course it was a Chevrolet dealership down near Charlotte. Do not go to this place at all because no one cares except to get your money

2014 Chevrolet Sonic needed a timing belt replaced.
2014 Chevrolet Sonic needed a timing belt replaced. I tried to get it fixed at the dealership here in Raleigh where I get all my work done, but there was no availability that lined up with her breaks. The estimate provided for the work was about $899.00. I contacted Elevation in the beginning of October and was able to get an appointment for the work to be done on 10/30. The vehicle was brought in first thing that morning and my daughter was told the work would be completed by the following day at the latest. I called the dealership on the morning of 10/31 and the person I spoke to didn't seem to have any knowledge of the work being performed, and once he got some more info, he told me it was "unthinkable" that the work could be performed in such a short timeframe but that he would check with the shop. I got a call later that same day telling me that the vehicle was being worked on and would be ready at the end of the day. However, I then received an immediate call back telling me that they had ordered the wrong part and that they would need to reschedule the service. I was told that they would call me once they had the part and then get the vehicle back in "immediately" to have the service completed. On 11/4, I got the call saying the part was in. When I asked when my daughter could bring the vehicle in, they said that their next appointment was not until mid-December. I expressed some frustration with this given the previous issue and need to reschedule due solely to their ordering the wrong part, and was then told that my daughter could bring the vehicle in on 11/12. The car was again there at the appointed time, but neither myself or my daughter received any type of update for the next two days. I finally called the shop around noon on 11/14 and spoke to the manager, who assured me that they could see the car in the shop being worked on, that the work should take "no more than four hours", and that it should be ready by the following morning at the latest. I did not receive an update that day, so I called again on the morning of 11/15 just after 9:00am. At that time, I was told that the work had not been completed as a tool they were using broke and had to be ordered, but that tool was not going to come in until 11/17. When I expressed further frustration (my daughter works two jobs in Boone and needed her car to get around at this point) and asked why I was not called the day before and informed of this issue, the representative could not give me any answer. I asked that she have the Manager contact me as I needed more information so I could decide whether I wanted the work to continue. Two hours passed and I had not been contacted, so I called and spoke to the same representative who said that the Manager was going to be calling me as soon as she was done with a customer. Another hour passed with no call, so I called again. The same representative told me that the Manager had spoken to my daughter, even though the instruction was to contact me, and that the work would be completed Monday morning. At the end of the day Monday (11/17), neither my daughter nor I had received any update. It was not until this morning that she was called and told that the work had been completed. I had told my daughter that if they contacted her to have them contact me as well, and I did receive a call from the shop. I asked for a breakdown of the charges and a total, and was told that the cost to repair was over $1400.00. When I told them that I had been quoted just over half of that amount at a Chevrolet dealership here, all the person said was "I don't know what to tell you. Not that I think it matters to anyone there, but Elevation lost a customer today. I have owned Chevrolets all my life and received nothing but top-tier service and professional care from every dealership that has ever performed work on one of my vehicles. This was the exact opposite. No communication. No consideration. Nothin
