In February 2022 I purchased an aftermarket upgrade of OEM genuine GM parts from 404 auto parts a nationwide company, factory navigation and android apple upgrade for my 2015 GMC Sierra. These parts a radio and HMI module. had a one year warranty. Everything worked great except I lost compass. This upgrade cost $1300 and was well worth it. In late March I took my Sierra into Todd Wenzel Buick GMC dealership in Davison Michigan to see if they could get my compass working and take out an aftermarket CB radio that was installed in Truck before I purchased it. After dropping Sierra off I was contacted the next day and told that both module upgrades were damaged and no longer functioned. I ask how they managed this and was not given an answer. They were under warranty, so I contacted 404 auto parts, and they were above polite and helpful in this manner. A Brian Seymore was the Todd Welzel service manager we dealt with in this event and a Chris Hagen from 404 auto parts were given each other contact information. It took over a week, but new modules preprogramed were installed, and everything worked has before except compass still didn't work and CB radio was still in Sierra. Please note, I was a good customer of this dealership and had invested several thousand dollars with them in basic upkeep for my Sierra. On August 8, 2024, I took my Sierra into Todd Wenzel for a tire rotation and tire pressure monitor reset. The next day my alarm went off for no reason while I was standing next to it. I turned alarm off with key fob. [ let us just say the timing of this event seem suspect and leave it at that] I did not think it was but a freak event. Over next two weeks this happened several times until; my key fob would not shut off alarm. It needed fixed so I contacted Todd Welzel and let them know. I dropped off Sierra on August 28, 2024, so they could fix this problem. Before they took truck I reminded them [ Carson Roat] of events of March 2022 when they damaged radio and HMI modules and to please not do this again for they were no longer warranted. They of course said they wouldn't. While they had Sierra, I ask that they take CB radio out again. This time they did. When I came to pick up Sierra I was told by a Carson Roat I needed a new HMI module at a cost of $1,000. Once again, I ask how they managed to damage HMI and again was not given an answer. I now have a truck with no radio, no HeadsUp screen or backup camera. It has been an off and on-again nightmare dealing with this dealership. They need to held accountable by someone but I cant afford to do this now. I do hope this this review will not be deleted. I do plan on reporting them to the BBB and any other agency I can think of.

Buyer
After multiple reminders to the sales rep, I am still having payments taken out of my account for a vehicle that I returned to them when I got the new vehicle.

Drove 45 minutes to sign the paper work. Once I arrived the deal and price had changed. Wanted more money down and an extra $100 a month. They will bait and switch you all day. Don’t bother with this dealer.

Every day we go to work with a customer-first approach-from offering the largest inventory selection and a staff that truly knows their stuff, to bold rewards after the deal. We work to make sure our customers actually enjoy, rather than dread, buying or servicing their vehicle. This vision took hold in Maine, was true when we opened our first dealership in West Michigan, and remains true today.
