I brought my car in when the gauge cluster went out and i had to return three times to try and get it fixed. The mph is dimmer than the others and is barely illuminated. They told me there is nothing they can do. I paid $1100 for the cluster to be replaced and it does not work properly.

We sincerely apologize for the highly frustrating experience you have had with your 2010 Malibu gauge cluster replacement, which led to your 1-star rating. We understand you paid a significant amount for a functional cluster, and we share your disappointment that the new unit is not performing to your expected standard. We want to assure you that your satisfaction is our top priority, and we have dedicated significant time and effort to resolve this unusual issue. Our Findings and Actions: We successfully diagnosed the original non-functioning cluster, and per your approval, installed a new unit. When you noticed the center pod was dimmer than the outer sections, we immediately began researching and attempted to correct the issue. Because the display technology (vacuum fluorescent displays, or VFD) and the dimming circuitry are integrated within the cluster, the issue lies specifically with the physical remanufactured part itself. To resolve this, we have warrantied out and installed a total of three different remanufactured clusters from our supplier, Specmo Enterprise. Regrettably, all three clusters exhibited the exact same dimming issue in the center section. The Challenge of Remanufactured Parts: As we work on older vehicles and utilize specialized components like remanufactured clusters (which are the only parts available for this vehicle), we encounter limitations in the manufacturing and restoration process. While we strive to return vehicles to "good as new" condition, we cannot guarantee that remanufactured electronic components will yield results identical to brand-new, factory-original parts. Recent service needs: (Battery failure with warranty replacement) for our 2018 Chevrolet Suburban. ( BUY 3 $1 for 4th, Michelin tires ) for my 2002 Isuzu Trooper were promptly and Professional/ Corteous care by Derek, and Josh in the service department. Service technician discovered that my Isuzu tie rod assy would not allow for proper alignment adjustment. Derek arranged purchase of necessary parts and service/ replacement of both tie rod assy and alignment were completed when parts arrived. GREAT staff and services as has been all of our previous visits in the past.
