Took my vehicle for service on 12-16-2024 5 star Lafayette had the vehicle all week. Took vehicle back on 12-23-24 to finish work they could not complete the prior week. I have no problem with the service technicians or the staff that check you in. The problem is a total breakdown in customer communication with the service staff. They tell you they have a new computer system and they struggle using it. You have an appointment for a certain time there are not ready for you. You call them four hours after you have taken vehicle and they don’t answer, you leave a message on the answering machine they don’t call you back. They are frustrated and desperate and it’s sad. I take my vehicle to 5 star because I bought the vehicle there, they are a gm dealership and they known the vehicle. Lafayette 5 star is clearly miss managed and their staff are doing the best they can in a disruptive environment.

Don't buy from them! 15 days before my 1st payment was due on a used car I bought my service battery charging system light came on. The battery kept draining and the car said battery saver active. I bought a battery and the car did the same thing. I called the dealership and they told me they wouldnt help or do anything. I was told that I needed to get it fixed. I explained that I was told they serviced it before they sold it to me and nothing was wrong. Now I am stuck getting a car fixed before a payment is due.

I bought a used car form them. Riley Potts the salesman, said they serviced the car and nothing is wrong with it. 15 days before my first payment was due my car had the service battery charging system light come on. The battery kept draining and then the Battery saver active came on. After I bought a new battery it still did the same thing. When I called I spoke to a man named Derek. He told me I needed to take it to the shop and have it fixed. My mother is in the hospital dieing and I cant even get there. I do NOT suggest buying from them. They were very rude and uncaring that they sold a car that had issues.
