This is a complaint and a commentary.

This is a complaint and a commentary. I am deeply disappointed and saddened by the incident I am about to relate. This needs to be brought to the attention of the owner, Kyle Durrence, and I want him, personally, to know how hurtful the loss of a dream can be. Since this dealership was owned by Martin NeSmith, my wife and I have purchased numerous brand new vehicles and one used one in 2022. At one time we even purchased (2) new vehicles on the same day! We've spent well over $300,000 in purchases and countless thousands in service as we have used no other mechanics for any of our multiple vehicles in the last 10 years. Our loyalty to NeSmith and then Kyle Durrence has been sound and we have extended our satisfaction by referring numerous friends to this dealership for new vehicles. We are avid Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac owners. Service after the sales is huge with me. That used vehicle was a 2020 GMC Sierra in perfect condition. Blood red, lift kit, over-sized mud grips, off road package, cloth interior, etc, etc. When I say I have worked all my life in anticipation of one day owning a much sought after GMC truck I mean 50 years of wage earning and credit building to get to this point. And this vehicle was my dream car. I babied this ride dutifully. Proud? xxxx, yes. Regular service, excellent service, from only one source - Kyle Durrence Chevrolet. Several weeks ago I brought that truck in for its 50,000 miles engine service and requested they look at the possibility of it needing the fuel injectors cleaned as I had noticed a fine skip, occasionally, at highway speed. Nothing else. This is a relatively new service team as we haven't seen any of our old service writers for months. I had an appointment, the vehicle sat in the service yard for 36 hours before this usual 2 hour service was even started. I left a message inquiring about the delay with no response, then called to tell them I would pick it up if they couldn't get to it. Late that afternoon I arrived to pick it up and the service writer, a woman, told me she had just moved it into the service and it would be ready within an hour. This was around 4:30 that afternoon. We were told to come back before 6:00. I came back, picked it up, and we left. Everything seemed fine until I stopped at the sign in Belleville. When I accelerated the truck spit and sputtered, a huge cloud of thick white smoke blew out the exhaust causing my wife to have to wait until the smoke cleared the intersection. It happened again every time the vehicle accelerated with cruise, every time I stopped and accelerated again in Collins, at my turn off, and at my home. I called that service writer back. She was unapologetic, seemed unconcerned, advised me to just continue driving, and conveyed assurance that perhaps the tech had put an additive in for the injectors that we just needed to let burn out. I was advised to run it for a 24-hour cycle at highway speeds. Checking the service record there was not additive indicated (or) fuel injector service noted. With a "excellent" 40-point service report in my hand, and recently serviced, my paid-off, title-free 2020 GMC Sierra 1500, candy apple red, in mint condition sitting in my driveway, engine tapping like a 6-cylinder with no oil and blowing thick white smoke out of the tailpipe I was pissed and sick to my stomach. I drove that truck to work the next day, same effects, and decided we could not go into retirement with a new, paid truck and a damaged engine. This was NOT oil burning. The smoke was snow white and smelled strongly of hot wires or burning metal. And the engine was running rough and noisey. I was convinced that something had been put in either the gas tank or the crankcase other than an additive or oil, The very next day I decided to make this Durrence' problem. Without telling my salesman, Rick Hall, the true issue I traded my prized possession for a 2023 Dodge Challenger in an excellent deal negotiated by my wife. WE brought that truck i

This dealership is not honest. I bought a used car that still had a factory warranty, however when I tried to use the warranty I was told it was not valid.

DO NOT BUY USED FROM THEM

Reviewed by Myers from Jesup, GAJune 19, 2023

They failed to tell me the truck I was buying had recalls. Then went as far as to LIE when I called them and say they didn't know it had any active recalls and the service department said had they of known they would have had them fixed before selling the truck. The recalls were over a year old. I bought the truck 2 months ago and the truck has been in the shop for a month now and it will be another week or two before it is fully fixed. I have been without any transportation after buying a $50,000.00+ truck from what I thought was a reputable dealer. If it wasn't for this dealership being lazy, unprofessional and straight horrible, I wouldn't be having this issue. They could have easily of set up to have the recalls completed on the truck BEFORE selling it, or at least offered me a rental/loaner while it is being repaired, but no I was literally told "SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK." DO NOT BUY HERE YALL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, TRUST ME!
