Car repairs
They did an oil change and they did not reset my car. They left the lock for my wheels in my consul. I feel they should have put it back where they found it. They did not reset my vehicle. So I had to spend 2 hours for an old change. Not happy. The service manager was arrogant. The resin for car going in was repaired but I have tested it out.

Bad business practices
On 9/23 my husband took our car in for repair to Fremont Chevrolet. He assumed it needed a head gasket, since there was water in the oil. The advisor was Dulce. He left the car and had to rent one from them since we are a one car family. All communications afterwards have been through text. They checked and said there was no water in the oil but gave a list of other maintenance repairs they said needed to be done amounting to over $5,000. He only agreed to a few and asked them to double check the oil and they did and then verified there was indeed water in the oil. The supposed time frame to finish repairs was 4 days. Dulce sent a picture of an estimate with no detailed costs for parts and labor. After a week, when he called to find out what was happening, they said they didn’t have the part to do the repairs. We were still paying for a car rental. They kept sending excuses every time we inquired about the car. After 17 days, they said now they had the part but didn’t have the tool to install it. 19 days later, they say the mechanic has stopped working on the head gasket because he now says the turbo was cracked so he stopped, and he has not even done any work on any of the other issues they said needed repair. My husband told them we don’t have the money to replace the turbo; to just complete the head gasket, no other services, because we need the car. We have now been paying for a rental car for 3 weeks, which should have been 4 days, and the car has no problems resolved. They finally said, OK, the car would be done by Friday or Saturday. My husband texted a few times, with no response 10/13. I called and spoke to another person who said it should be done by tomorrow. When I asked if I could pick it up tomorrow morning then, he said, 'oh, I don't know if it will be ready', meaning they still have not worked on the car. He said he wasn't the advisor, but Dulce would be back in 10 minutes and if I wanted him to ask her to call me back. I said yes, please, make sure she does because I need the car for next week. The dealership/service department has now closed, and we have gotten no response or call back. The rental alone will be costing us over a thousand dollars and still they keep stretching out the days and evading our calls, and I honestly don't know what to do anymore. Today, 10/14, after calling to see what happened, we received a text message that the mechanic would start repairs at 11AM... and we would be notified at 3PM if the car was ready. Nobody called and after one call made by us, message left, and two text messages sent, Dulce sent a text saying the technician did not have time to finish so the car would not be ready today. Tomorrow is Sunday, so another day wasted paying for a rental that we should not have to pay for.
