You cannot make this up. I had the worst experience ever buying a car on Friday, December 5 at Genesis of Hazelwood. I have text messages from Jessie Miller, my salesperson beginning on November 25 up until December 5 and am happy to share them. Jessie was easy to communicate with and did answer all my questions promptly. Since I was over 4 hours away, I wanted to make sure the vehicle was in excellent condition. It was a new 2024 G90 with only eighty-two miles so one would think it would be. On Monday, December 1, Jessie, and I agreed to the deal. I felt the G90 and my trade in were valued fairly. I told him I would drive over on Friday, December 5 to purchase the G90 and trade in my vehicle. I drove over 4 hours from Kansas City to Hazelwood expecting to pick up a 2024 Genesis G90 that I had agreed to purchase along with the trade-in of my vehicle. After meeting Jessie, he indicated the car had been detailed and to go look it over why he looked at my car. The new G90 had body damage in two locations and tree sap over several areas. I immediately brought this to his attention, and he quickly went to get the GM, Bruce Mady. Even more frustrating was that Jessie was dealing with another customer while I was waiting to tell him what I discovered. I was told that I could wait a couple of hours and they would remove the dents (paintless dent removal) from the car and buff/clean off the tree sap. I was never given an apology. Not even offered water, a soft drink or lunch if I waited. This car had been sitting on their lot for well over a year. You would think they would have done everything possible to sell this car. I walked away from the deal very frustrated and disappointed. It should never have come to this, and the car should have been ready for me to drive back to KC in new condition. I had asked Jessie prior to agreeing to purchase this car if the car was clean and free of any defects. He even sent me eighteen photos of the G90 exterior and interior. I just do not understand as he was taking these pictures how these dents were not noticed. I saw them immediately as did my friend who drove over with me. Eric Zheng even said the prior GM knew about this damage and did nothing. So, it appears to me that these dents were known by this dealership and for whatever reason did not want to fix them or they thought I would not notice. Bruce sent me a text after I returned home indicating that the issues were addressed on the vehicle and if it were something that I would still like to pursue that he would personally send me pictures and videos of the G90. I did respond that the only way I would consider this would be if the car was driven to me and the price be reduced as a result of poor service, deception, miles put on my Audi(that was being traded-in) gas expense and a total waste of a day. Bruce never responded to this text. This is a text I received from Jessie after i returned home- “We planned on fixing all of that. We had people scheduled here today to pull the dents and buff the entire car to make it look show room ready”-He knew 4 days earlier I was coming. Why it was not done before I arrived is still puzzling. He then continues by saying” I lost control of my emotions and ran out before we could even explain” (which is not true) He continues by saying-“If reporting us to Hyundai will satisfy you and make you feel better than OK no problem. We will continue to sell Genesis now and in the future. I’m sorry you couldn’t be patient and wait for us to get that car show room ready for you. Hope you find what you are looking for out there. Thank You!!!” Everything he said is a text message that is still on my phone. My advice when buying long distance-have someone, if possible, go look at what you are going to purchase. I trusted I was buying something new and was totally deceived. I would not recommend Genesis of Hazelwood for your car needs.

Dont get your service done here!!! came in for a tpms problem.. reset it...didn't even fix the problem and didn't drive it to show the tire pressures... light is back on.... left my engine air filter box opened just messy waste of 5 hours for nothing.. never going here ever again and never will recommend this place to anyone.. update.... they had the car 4 days could not diagnose the problem I had the car for 10 minutes and because my radar was plugged in to the fast charger port it was causing communication issues with the tire readings lmao... so needless to say i fixed it and they couldn't even figure it out .....please do not take your car here they never updated me about the car I had to call to get a update smh. Terrible place to get your car serviced because obviously they can't handle a simple task.. I would give it zero stars if I could!!!!
