The experience with trying to purchase a new vehicle from Rick Case Plantation was abysmal.
The online sales lady asked me immediately to bring in my trade-in for appraisal. Upon bringing in the vehicle they switched sales reps from the online person to a floor salesperson and he increased the price significantly from what the online price I had been quoted in writing was, and then they tried to push my wife to make a purchase immediately using this higher cost. Luckily she insisted on talking to me because she wasn't aware of their bait and switch with the pricing.
Worse still, when I tried to have the online sales person send me an updated deal that matched the online quote, not the inflated in person quote, she ignored me and failed to respond in a reasonable amount of time.
I should have read more of the recent online google reviews, where there are MANY one stars and complaints about customer service at Rick Case Hyundai in Plantation. Perhaps all the 5 stars are from years ago when it was run differently, because it was as poor a customer service experience as I've ever had.
If you want bait and switch and pushy sales tactics, this is the dealership for you. If not, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

This dealership doesn't even deserve the One Star I had to give it just to write this. Brought my car in Monday 03/15 Stefano Vigil told me my car Monday he is ordering parts, its not under warranty (fine) and they have no loaners but it would be ready by Wednesday. After not receiving a call Wednesday, I called Thursday and Stefano told me my car would be ready tomorrow (Friday). AGAIN NO CALL or update, so I call on Saturday then to be told by Stefano my car would be ready "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday"....... I am paying for a rental since they "never have loaners available only 10 yet its a Rick Case - one of the biggest dealerships)." I tell him I am paying everything out of pocket, repairs and rental which was planned for only two days. Stefano called me back Saturday and said the part is on back order so that's the hold up but on Monday he would get me a loaner so I could return the rental. Here we are Monday and now I am being told the dealership is having a Nation Wide Back Order on this sensor BUT they can just go ahead and do a Temp Repair so I can get my car back and drive it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? A Temp repair on a sensor that controls my power steering, brakes, front collision etc. that Stefano says is temporary and that it could lock up again while driving it??? Talk to Colin Lord the Service Manager who told me that its not a Temp repair, I could drive the whole time like this and nothing ever happen.. so IF that is the case WHY did they not do the temp repair prior to Wednesday when they knew the parts were weeks out of stock? I've been paying for a rental for a week now, have to pay for the work of a "repair" until the actual part comes in and when I told Colin this and asked why I wasn't told a week later about this to avoid paying for a rental and what am I going to do now he said "its not my rental". NO your right its not, you guys just failed in doing your job, communicating with your customers, updating staff on the status of parts so they could inform the customer, decide to do "repairs" but give false information whether it is temp or a permanent fix yet want to get paid for it and feel confident that the safety features that this wire effects will actually do its job in keeping my family and myself safe while using the vehicle, give false estimated dates on turn around times, have only 10 loaners so you can't offer a loaner to someone who actually needs one for an extended period of time, and tell customers its not your fault their vehicle got damaged (clearly). So what do you take responsibility for? Seen other reviews where someone is complaining of similar issues, failing to communicate, car unavailable for weeks, and the comment response from the dealership was to contact the General Manager Fares Abualown, I wonder if it helped, maybe if he too answered his phone or emails I would know. NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!
