This car,the Ford Shelby GT350 has been my dream car, since I was a teenager. It's a beautifully built car. Stylish, classy, sounds awesome, handles like a dream.

The GT350 is exactly what I was looking for

by MotoMaximus from Michigan | April 16, 2020

I went through 3 different brands and models to land on the GT350. I started with the Challenger Hellcat, but found the interior to be extremely plain. It had a great exterior, but inside the cockpit, was way too boring for me. Next up was the Maserati Gran Turismo, which was the very opposite of pony/muscle cars, but unique enough to explore. What killed the deal for me was the super high insurance. Then I got lucky enough to see a GT350 locally in person. I immediately fell in love. The look of the car is perfect from every angle. I also wanted a very specific package which included the leather seats, the shaker sound system and heated/cooled seats. I checked the rival seats but those were very u comfortable for my back - I have wide shoulders. I couldn’t imagine getting in and out of those seats all the time. On the track, I bet they are great, but regular driving, no thanks. I guess the only thing I wish for is a better layout of the entertainment system. The one we have in the 2018 wrangler is awesome! It’s really easy to use, and has a nice layout. The one in the 2017 350 kinda sucks. It works, but it’s a bit lame. Overall, the car is awesome. Lots of power, sounds great, very comfortable. I’m glad I saved up for it.

Wonder Car, Fast Fun

by Big Al from Lenox | March 16, 2020

The GT350 is an incredible car that I am forced to part with because I can no longer shift gears. It is the classic GT350 white with blue stripes. It is very fast on the track with wonderful handling. I have instructed Driver's Education at Thompson, Lime Rock, Palmer and Watkins Glen. It is the best track/street car I have been in. That includes all Porsche models, Miatas, Camaros, and Vets. Nothing has the combination of speed and good manners. It is also an extremely comfortable daily driver on the highway. Uber in every way.

2017 Ford Shelby GT350 Overview

The Shelby GT350 is a high-performance sports car that Ford claims is the most track-capable Mustang that they’ve built. Owing to its track performance it competes with both the BMW M4 and more high-performing versions of the Chevrolet Camaro.

New for 2017
The Track Package, with its aluminum strut tower brace; high downforce spoilers; engine oil, transmission and differential coolers; MagneRide suspension system and Recaro sport seats is now standard. Two new packages are also available this year: an Electronics Package and a Convenience Package. The Electronics Package adds Sync 3, navigation and a nine-speaker premium audio system, while the Convenience Package adds all of that but swaps out the manual Recaro seats for power leather sport seats.

Three new colors also join the lineup: Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue. Gone are Deep Impact Blue and Competition Orange.
