Wanted a Karman Ghia...

Rented a Ford Focus and was very impressed. A new Focus was not available, wanted a manual shift, and the Fiesta was. Just a simple S series, handles great, shifts smooth, gets better gas mileage than my old Honda motorcycle! Wanted something to autocross, much like an old VW, and it seems like it wants to do it! I just had to learn to wind out first gear to about 2800 R (about 25 mph) and things started to get fun. Learn what it likes, and your brakes will last forever...

2018 Ford Fiesta Overview

The 2018 Ford Fiesta is a subcompact car that comes as either a 4-door sedan or a 5-door hatchback. It competes with the MINI Hardtop, Honda Fit, and Nissan Versa Note.

The sedan version has three trim levels available: the S, SE, and Titanium.

The hatchback version also has the same three trims as well as a higher performance ST trim.

Under the hood, the Fiesta has three engine options. The base engine is a 120-hp, 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that is mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The ST hatchback is powered by a 197-hp, turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual.
