The 2024 Ford Escape is one of the best-selling compact SUVs on the market. It competes with the Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4. Maximum cargo capacity is 65.4 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.
Six trims are available: Base, Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, Platinum, and ST-Line Elite.
The Escape has two gas-powered engine options: a base 180-hp, turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and a 250-hp, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available.
