I'm quite livid that I drove 3hrs, test-drove a vehicle and was in the middle of the sell when I found out that the vehicle had been "sold" even after advising the agent that I had pre-qualified before driving down and was willing to put money on this vehicle before coming here so that this would not happen. I think I'll pass on doing any business with Koons Ford Sterling and spread the word as to why.

Reviewed by Disappointed BuyerJune 14, 2024

This dealer is misleading, unprofessional, and irresponsible. Would not recommend to anyone seeking to buy a car. Following my purchase of the car, I reached out to both the salesman and his manager about concerns I had after buying a 4 year old used car. Before purchasing the car, I was told many of the concerns I had about the car would be addressed. After I took the car home, the next day I reached out to the salesman, who has yet to return my multiple calls/texts (it’s been 3 weeks now) and neither has his manager. His manager also conned me into financing the car, (I was gonna pay cash) stating that he had a lender that he knows that would approve me without having to run my credit multiple times…this was a lie. I later found that my credit was run 8 times without my authorization. Additionally, when I bought the car, the finance manager forgot to take my down payment, so I had to return to the dealership the next day (22 miles from my house) to make the down payment. I am incredibly unhappy with the service I received there and would never return nor recommend this dealership to anyone.
