Dreadful service

On March 30th, 2019 our Squadron's ( Civil Air Patrol.USAF Auxiliary) van broke down on I-89. Per regulations, it was towed to a Ford dealership for repairs. The nearest Ford dealership was Formula Ford, Montpelier, Vermont. Today, April 12th, myself and another Squadron member drove from Springfield, Vermont to pick it up. My first inclination of trouble was when I called at about 0835 to advise of our arrival and was grumpily greeted.
When we arrived not a single person could give us a smile, the bill was paid and the van brought to the front door. Per regulations, a complete inspection of the van was performed. I went inside to ask for a tire pressure gauge, was handed one by the service department receptionist but no-one asked if I would like that done for me. Next I asked for a rag so I could check the fluids, again, this was treated as an inconvenience. Whilst checking the fluids we discovered that there was no fluid in the transmission! I then went to the parts department and asked for some ATF, waiting some ten minutes whilst another cheerless employee searched a catalogue for the "correct" ATF. My fellow squadron member asked if they had a funnel we could use, even a paper one and we were told "No"!
At no time,with the van parked in front of the main entrance, did anyone come out to see if something was wrong or they could help in any way. Apparently customer service is not one of their strong points

The service and staff are excellent. My car was taken care of very well. The service staff treat a vehicle like they own it themselves. Very pleased with the service techs. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

The personal at the dealership were very helpful through the hole process of acquiring a new vehicle. They showed us both the buy and leasing options. I never thought we would lease but the deal was so good we couldn't justify buying. Our sales person was friendly, courteous, fun to talk with and didn't pressure us at all. Not at all like past situations that make you want to avoid them. We have had the vehicle for a month now and couldn't be happier. Ford fusion plug-in who ever thought we would own a plug-in. Great vehicle.
